You're ad worked! I just bought one. It helps that the jet pilot is my go to. Im sure it needs the 151, but will probably prefer it with another main rum. The pot still is pretty funky
The BGR Jet Pilot Cocktail mix with 50/50 of Smith & Cross + Hamilton 151 is my favorite combo for that mix. Super good and a legit recreation of the classic.
Hey Spike that fashionola makes an awesome Cobra's Fang...I know a lot of recipes call for passion fruit syrup but replace it with fashionola which was in the original recipe. Also absolutely love what you're doing with this channel you need a lot more support.
I totally agree, Cobra's Fangs are so much better with Fassionola. I do the same thing with Hurricanes as well. I wonder how many old drinks actually called for fassionola instead of passion fruit and were swapped when it wasn't available to find anymore.
Would like to see you try the Zombie punch mix. I think I will stick with going fresh on everything though. I mix up a zombie or jet pilot probably every other day. I love them.
Their entire range of products, save just a few, are great! My favorites are the Pineapple Molasses and their Red Fassionola. Their Paradise Blend and gardenia mix are both pretty damn delicious, too. I haven't figured out what to do with the Hazelnut Syrup but it's delicious... I sometimes use it in place of orgeat. OH! And the Circus Peanut Clown Syrup is ... well, incredible in a gross and delicious way. It's a MUST BUY. The misses in their line for me are the Orgeat, Passion Fruit and Falernum.
The Circus Peanut Syrup really is something, and I love the Pineapple Molasses, too. I like the passion fruit syrup, and the falernum is really spicy--definitely different from Velvet Falernum, but it has its uses. The orgeat is good, although I find it easier to make my own using a recipe I adapted from Kaiser Penguin.
@@BreezewayCocktailHour I pretty much compare it all to homemade so that’s why it’s a miss for me. I like Small Hand Foods, Liquid Alchemist, the Latitude 29 orgeat from Orgeat Works, or Liber & Co. (super delicious but grainy texture that’s only noticeable in simple drinks). Cheers!
Really pleased to see your channel getting the support it absolutely deserves. Would love to see you make some fassionola from scratch and compare against the BG Reynolds.
I just bought a bottle of BG Reynolds from tiki spices but I’m not quite sure what to use it for haha. Would love to see an update video on some of these syrups!
Love the mugs! I see on their website they have the Geeki tikis which I have a couple. Do you know if they ship to the UK? Also Trying to get Hamilton’s in the UK but can’t find anywhere that stocks it?
totally agree about the 17 coors light vs 1 super dark, punch you in the face beer! its like drinking on cruise control ( booze control ) vs doing a kamikaze mission. ''feel free to use that, just give me credit'' -spike
Nick Morton I though his drink was called the Blood Punch? Maybe it's the same thing. I've known Adrian for almost 20 years now. We're talking about having him on the show too.
The Hula Girls Ya, ya..Blood Punch! So good. Can’t wait for that episode. 👍 Ask about the other one, maybe it’s a different take on the Blood Punch? 🤷♂️ I think he made them at the Tiki Ti before.
BG Reynold's syrups are legit.
Love BG Reynolds products. Use their passion fruit in the chief lapu lapu.

Jeff Walther haha...! Yeah, it's good! Not the same as a skratch cocktail, but good for a quick version!
Oh well - i`m ready! 2x Grog, 3x Cuba Libre, 1x Iron Ranger, 2x straight Bourbon, 6x water. Cheers from Germany guys!
icemann10 😳

Nathan Robinson oh wow, I think I might have two more drinks left in that bottle, I'll have to try your blend. Thanks, dude!!
Love BG Reynolds! Now we got to get you some Surfside Sips glass straws! Keep up the great videos. Thanks.

Haden Epperson thank you so much!!

The end is awesome!
Spike, your videos are just so much fun to watch!
Missyfox41 thank you so much 😊
I’ll definitely be buying a bunch of their syrups as soon as I finish moving next month! Don’t want them getting damaged in the move 😊
Would like to see you try the Zombie punch mix. I think I will stick with going fresh on everything though. I mix up a zombie or jet pilot probably every other day. I love them.
Do you have affiliate links in place? I want to buy more BG Reynolds stuff but would love to throw some love your way.
Scott McMahon - Film Trooper thank you but no, we never set that up. :)
Deke Dickerson!?. I've got two of his albums. 3- Dimensions! and This Is Ecco-Fonic! Love Him! By the way, I like 11 to 13 Coors Lights.
You have some amazing friends!

Nathan Robinson I always thought their orgeat was great… But I never did any side-by-side comparisons. Who do you like for orgeat?

I think we need a Spike wardrobe episode ... I can never find the cool prints you have.
Bigpete9000 they're almost all vintage ✨👌🏻
Thank you, was just going to ask.
BG Reynolds has a good Pearl Diver mix
Really pleased to see your channel getting the support it absolutely deserves. Would love to see you make some fassionola from scratch and compare against the BG Reynolds.
Oliver Spicer cool idea! And thanks!!
I've been a huge BG fan for years!
Loved it another great show, Mahaloz for kicking off the weekend!
The Kon Tigo Tiki Bar Tiki thanks! Fun hanging out with you guys.
I recently bought the Fassionola syrup myself. There are several cocktail recipes that use it from the Minimalist Tiki book! I really recommend it !:)
I just bought a bottle of BG Reynolds from tiki spices but I’m not quite sure what to use it for haha. Would love to see an update video on some of these syrups!
Just bought two bottles each of the Jet Pilot mix and the Zombie Punch mix! Can't wait to try them out!
The BG Reynolds website has a ton of recipes that use their syrups, including fassionola.

I wouldn't be watching if you just did quick videos!! More Spike = more awesome!
TikiBrett thanks!
Nice outro!!!👍
You should do more episodes on Stephen Crane and his Kon Tiki franchise. There was one in Cleveland.
I use fassionola in my hurricanes instead of passion fruit syrup, so much better. February 16th is Fat Tuesday, get on it Spike!
Christopher Melnyk thanks!!!
Shout out Hale Pele squad! 👋
Love the mugs! I see on their website they have the Geeki tikis which I have a couple. Do you know if they ship to the UK? Also Trying to get Hamilton’s in the UK but can’t find anywhere that stocks it?

blitzen mike 😂
Should have done half and half on the rums...might be perfect...especially matching the 3 mugs.
Shoutout to Tropicana JOE!
Nathan Robinson 🙌🏼
I ordered the mixes! Sometimes you need a drink fast ;)
The New Yorker posted an article titled. "Pellet Ice is the Good Ice"
Immediately thought of your show and the Sonic Ice.
Aaron Francis hahaha.... cool!
The orgeat is a different color than most I have bought, how do they compare? (I have a few BG products in my bar, not that one yet).
Unfortunately their Orgeat isn't very good. Its' a big miss for me.
Polynesian Pop aka Adrian makes a killer drink with Fassionola. Blood of Magellan I believe. 🤔
Nick Morton I though his drink was called the Blood Punch? Maybe it's the same thing. I've known Adrian for almost 20 years now. We're talking about having him on the show too.

Mardi Gras falls on Tuesday the 16th of February this year, my dear.
And now we know what to use fassionola in…Blood Punch.
You're lucky to have white grapefruit. I literally cannot find it, and the red ones. Yuck.
I can't find white grapefruit, either, but Ocean Spray Pure White Grapefruit Juice has been fairly easy for me to get a hold of.
Cinnamon = light the drink on fire
You better ask the ayatollah of fashionola!
Matt Strickland It's rare that anything makes me laugh out loud. That did it.
@@BreezewayCocktailHour well, I did watch Mad Max recently so the Toecutter deserves come of the credit
