I had no idea these games, Cyber and Shadow Dancer, existed on the SMS. But they never released in the US so we missed out on them. But I think the Genesis/MD version is better.
Right off the bat they make the terrible mistake of preserving the arcade version's difficulty, but now you're not allowed to continue. Shinobi was more pared down, but it was the better port.
@@gameshack1985 I prefer the Genesis version which was a complete reimagining! That one had a neat trick in the bonus stages. Don't try to kill any of the ninjas. You'll reach the ground and get a one-up!

@@gameshack1985 Out of the Genesis trilogy, I'd give it the number 2 spot. I liked Shinobi 3 just a bit more.
