Yes - don't forget your own belongings lying around! I started to go through the bunch of hair products I had in my cabinet, and found an old can of TIGI Catwalk curl spray that I was given by a hairdresser a while ago and didn't like. It was probably 3/4 full. I decided to look it up, and lo and behold - because they no longer make it anymore, some were listed for nearly $200! So I listed mine, sold it in 24 hours for $30 bucks. Something that I would have otherwise thrown away!
Wow! What a great find and a quick sale. I'm glad you were able to make some money off of something you weren't using!
First- I absolutely love your channel and I’ve learned so much.
May I respectfully ask that you pay more attention to your textiles, you sold those cute pillows as crochet and they were knitted. This is so common, it’s usually a mislabeled needlepoint/crosstitch/crewell/embroidery which is a “ true crime “ in the textile world. I’ve collected this stuff for 40 years and because of you, I’m actually making money on selling them.
Love you- love your channel
Much respect!
For rust removal, I apply lemon juice to the spot and hang the item in a sunny window, repeating the process as needed. Wash the item in cold water in gentle detergent and hang to dry.
That's a great tip, thanks for sharing!
@@erindixon2877 Wink rust remover is a liquid very effective for laundry rust spots. It can disappear rust spots as you watch.
Those lower priced items do add up! Thankfully they help to get you through this slower time. No worries. It's just that time of year. Things will pick up soon. Having as much of an inventory like you do, getting things to resale is always a matter of when they will. It shows some do hang around for a while but ultimately do sell. You're smart to have so many listing. It saves you! Again, another fun video. Thanks so much. 😉👍❤
You're absolutely right - slow times happen but it's all about being patient and ready to go when things pick up!
Great video Kat. Thanks for reminder to go ahead and list stained or damaged items.
Thanks so much :D
Thanks Kat
Great information. Happy thrifting 😊
You got it! Happy thrifting to you too!
I had a quilt that was totally open on all the edges from wear and I think that sold faster than my other quilts. I have also sold just the top patchwork area of a quilt. They sold really fast too. You never know what people will like.
Yes very true. I've sold some topper pieces as well
Thank you Kat, your content is so informative 😊 have a great weekend
You're welcome! Have a great one too!
GOOD TO SEE YOU KAT!! YOU ARE LOOKING GOOD/HEALTHY!! 🎉🎉🎉. $45,000 in 90 DAYS IS AWESOME!! Let's keep a perspective. You health is priceless!!!

I just sold 2 yards of holly hobbie fabric for $35/yard!
Oh that's awesome!
You may have covered in a past video but it’s on my mind now. :)
How do you get the sizing arrows on your pictures for eBay? Not the ones that are just your tape measure. The green digitized ones. Thanks in advance :)
Great content as always!
Smart sizer app it is available only on iphone
I’m brand new at reselling. I did my very first estate sale yesterday, for which I got up at 4:30AM!!! I was hoping for jewelry which was a complete bust but they had TONS of Christmas ornaments and I didn’t even glance at them. DAMNIT!!!
What did you buy? Where are you selling
I can't even count the number of garage sales I attended in my life before I ever thought of reselling that were packed with old Christmas stuff and I would just leave. Yuck, boring! Wish I could go back to all of them now! 😂
Christmas ornaments are a great find - you might be surprised at what they can bring! Definitely keep an eye on them next time
@@TheNurseFlipper I absolutely will from now on. It’s a great tip. I love your videos.
@@Timetraveler1111MN Just a costume necklace I wasn’t even thrilled with. But I was in a jewelry frame of mind. I’m going to keep my mind more open and stay fluid going forward. I wish to hell I’d seen this video a day earlier.
Cremieux: "kre-meuh" (like you're about to say "meow" but instead you say "me-UH") 😉
Great Video ❤ You are the BEST!!!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks for helping us little people
😊
I'm happy to help, but you're not little people :D
Thank you again, great information!
You bet!
Do you do live shows on posh to sell? If so does that boost your sales?
I do not. I tried a couple but didn't do well, but I know some people that do very well with it
All ok Miss Kat🙏🥰
I'm starting to feel better now
Thanks Kat!!
You are so welcome!
@ I hope you’re doing well☺️
@beachwalker2245 I'm hurting but I'm glad to be home
so much better to be home☺️. I went to a Goodwill in Sarasota and had a Pfaltzgraff Florida gators piggy bank that is selling for for $35 (for $1.99) -someone stole it out of my cart🤦🏼♀️
@beachwalker2245 ugh!!!
Hopefully sales will pick up now people have got over the expense of Christmas. I loved the jester cat ornament, very unusual!
I hope so too!
Thank You!
You're welcome!
Where is last weeks pod cast with your group? I know you never miss. I can't find it.
It was canceled i was in the hospital
I am so sorry. I hope 🙏 all is ok.
What does putting READ in the description signify?
To actually read the description and that there is a flaw of some sort on the item
How do you determine what to sell on Poshmark and Mercari as apposed to eBay?
All my listings go on all 3
Do you sell on Facebook? I’m just starting to sell doing or more for extra income. I only posted items for local and not to ship.
@JodizzleSlotRizz i do ebay mercari and poshmark only
14:44 1980s giving me George Michael vibes. Wow good sale!! Lol

Nine west is good macys brand
Yeah I'm gonna look closer from now on for sure
Nine West had their own stores in many malls. They specialized in leather outerwear. Many beautiful leather coats, too. Think matrix style.
I have several items I still use to this day. Including my full-length black leather coat.
@lissette3549 oh nice
On that Chicago Bears fabric, you didn't put the type of fabric in the title. I assume it was in the description, but wouldn't it be better in the title?
I don't know what the content of the fabric was it wasn't on it
I had to find you on insta, hope you are healing!
I'm not feeling the best but I'm trying to rest like I"m supposed to. I don't do good at not doing much LOL
@@TheNurseFlippergirl…rest. I’m not good at it either…Crohn’s disease, being 68 years old, and cancer diagnosis and treatment in November/ December did not slow me down, I was still out sourcing, listing, shipping, then on Dec. 21 I broke my ankle! That is the only thing that would slow me down. And I needed to slow down. I could not even get into my eBay room to pack and could not drive to post office anyway, so that was it. Tomorrow will be my first thrift store trip in over six weeks. I’m all rested up and excited, even though I have to bring a dang walker! So you rest!
@karenhunter-kowalski8463 yay I'm glad you get to go tomorrow
