❤ you’re posting! Nice video. The music was a little loud over your talking. I love seeing you getting into this more as an achiever. Your driving more than along for the ride.
Keep this up! Can never get too much of y’all.

I love seeing the contrast of both your experiences, with you bob we get to see the fresh excitement of a new awesome experience and with Jack we get to see the veteran memories and logistical side of what's to come knowing when to pause and when to push. Loving watching you both can't wait until it warms up some for you guys. protip: If you can turn the music volume down slightly when talking or talk a bit louder lol, still a great video and it could just be my roku tv but had some trouble hearing at points lol.

Just discovered this! I appreciate your perspective and video style. Now i can follow both channels for your hike. Suggestion would be not everything needs music. Also nice to hear the creek, breaking snow, what you hear as your walking, your voices... Looking forward to the next one. Thanks!

Great to see you posting. Thanks. You are kinda close to my home. I live in western NC. Just a couple of suggestions that may interest you. Take time every so often to look behind you, the view could be just what you need. Also, with the leaves still off most of the trees, keep your eyes looking up too, this is where you may see porcupines and bears. Both animals like to climb trees, and will stay in the tree tops when they are out and about. Most black bears do not den for the entire winter and will occasional come out of their dens. Enjoy your adventure and keep on vloging we like this. Happy trails

Good video. May I suggest you turn your music sound down a bit so your voice can be heard over it. Otherwise, a very good video.

Yay Bob! The only thing I have noticed that could be improved, is slow down the movement of the camera. When you are panning from side to side, go very very slowly. Example: when you cut to the grave stones, it was almost a blur, no time to focus on it. One more thing, could just be me, but the extended, fast motion, scene movement was a bit much for my eyes, almost dizzying. So my main advise is slow down the movement of the camera, make it smoother. 😊💜 at first I thought I missed one of the other videos!😂

Just found this. Now we get twice as much content: one from an experienced AT hiker and the other from someone new to hiking. Btw, you should announce on the other channel that you also have a channel devoted to recording your AT hike.

Lots of comments about the music drowining out what you were saying, so I won't repeat that. Perhaps your audience would like to see your preparation, what happens on rest breaks, what happens in the shelter. In other words what is the back story to the hike, not just the hike. How did you make your decisions? How was Capt Jack being a twit or nice today? Tell us how you get your hair to be like that. lol
Remember panning slowly is best. Maybe we don't need to see the full sweep of the scenery, but shorter pans that keep some reference to where we are. We will get less dizzy that way. To me, it would be interesting to hear you say that we are now at mile 344 or whatever when you tell us about a shelter or place. Endless segments of hiking get a little tedious, try to intersperse them with something funny that Jack said or a pretty view. It was interesting to see your video of Jack taking a video of the deer, since earlier we had seen the deer from Jack's viewpoint.

Boom! Up popped your channel. Congrats on recording your own hiking experiences I agree with what others have said here - please turn your music down some. It’s overpowering anything you say making it difficult to hear.
