I agree totally, and I read up why Peter Jackson changed and added some stuff and it COMPLETELY makes sense why he did and I love him for that. And I don't know why people are complaining about three movies, for me its 3 times the fun and three times the Lord of the Rings.
I love how the wargs attack and they have TWO wizards there who both just stand there and watch it happen. xD This is why I love Tolkien's wizards. They do absolutely nothing when they know other people have got it under control.
Dude, that would be hilarious. What a way to break the ice for the people in the bar. You might even get to talk to some chicks because of me in that situation.
I watched the movies before reading the books and I didn't understand most of it. When I read the books afterwards, I understood most of it completely. The Hobbit movie is a lot better than the LOTR ones because it ADDED when LOTR just took some stuff out. Taking Tom out was understandable, but there were some parts that should have still been in there, like The Souring of the Shire and Saruman of Many Colors (Don't get me wrong, his acting was amazing!)
Vincen old chum. Do this for me. Go home, go into your kitchen, turn on the gas stove (unlit) for 10 minutes, bask in the fumes for a while, and pull out a cigarette and have a smoke.
I can't help but wonder why some people are ungrateful about an adaption just because it's not exactly like the original material. I mean it doesn't have to be PERFECT in order to be GOOD; I thought that this movie was even better than LOTR.
I liked it after getting to know all 89 new characters that were introduced, Frankly this could have just been 1 single long movie though, why stretch it out to 3 (duh, to make 3x the money, i know). Truth is fans would sit for 3+ hours to get just 2 LoTR-quality movies under their belt spaced simply, oh, 3-4 months apart. My point is that I'm waiting eagerly for the next film with the Legolas/Galadriel sex scene with full frontal. I KNOW, I KNOW... we can dream, can't we?
So I saw it. And it was sort of interesting. But you have to admit it's hard to really get into with all the new characters they are throwing at you every 5 mins.
Tolkien wrote the book for his children, so IMHO I think this might be taken into account by the director and writers, with more humor then the LOTR. so in a way it would be fitting. There seems to be quit a bit of back story and extra characters though, purists will find this ... off putting. ie Radagast, Galadriel's presence and Gandalf going to Dol Guldur.
errors in the clip: dwarf looks at wolf and continues to look away when it leaps and no blood on sword when killing worg. Hope movie isn't full of this crap.
Nobody is angry... We just want to tell you what an utter waste of a comment that statement was. It's like walking into a pub, saying, "I don't drink beer!" and then leaving. I mean, wat.
As you all so eliquently suggested, I watched the film. It's ok but not my cup of tea. At least I can say I am open minded and don't get so butthurt over stupid sh*t like one youtube comment. Get a life.

Agreed

that arrow was SO gonna hit that knee!
I saw Gandalf talking to a bear on the movie poster and I was excited to see Beorn. Now I have to wait, like, another YEAR to see Beorn! WHYYY!!
I wish they had included in this clip the part where Radagast says "Rascabel Rabbits
Biblo ends up being cool in ALL the movies :) Wait until the next one when the Company is in Mirkwood!
good call on the dwarf keeps looking away.. man. No blood on sword is one of my pet hates
my gosh i dont think i can wait two more days. looks amazing as it is. sucks that i cant go to the midnight showing
Dude, that would be hilarious. What a way to break the ice for the people in the bar. You might even get to talk to some chicks because of me in that situation.
Seeing this tomorrow!!!! CAN NOT WAIT!!!
I loved this movie, since it shows short people can kick orc/warg butt.
Well, you're missing out on a giant chunk of awesomeness!

what you just said there, was gold :)
lol, that's clever. Made me chuckle.
Thank you.
I've never seen one of your youtube movies and I never will.
Vincen old chum. Do this for me. Go home, go into your kitchen, turn on the gas stove (unlit) for 10 minutes, bask in the fumes for a while, and pull out a cigarette and have a smoke.
LOL, i love how angry people get when all I say is I won't watch a movie.
I can't help but wonder why some people are ungrateful about an adaption just because it's not exactly like the original material. I mean it doesn't have to be PERFECT in order to be GOOD; I thought that this movie was even better than LOTR.
Wow, I get the context, but I didn't know that a cookie could do that.
XD
I understand that Christopher Tolkien was angry about the movies, but you can't just demonize them ENTIRELY just like THAT!!
Yeah, I've only read the Hobbit actually, but I 'm about to start the Fellowship of the Ring soon
which dwarf is under the first warg-wolf in the clip?!? its driving me crazy !!
Ive never seen a LOTR movie and i never will.
Lol. Fair enough. Personally I'll really have to stop getting wasted whilst online.
comes out tommorow? shit i didant even reilize it was that close to release.
You will or so help me god I'll force you to watch it like Alex's Ludovico treatment in A Clockwork Orange.
Kili, you so badass :3
Como flipan estos se han tragado una de LSD jeje
@ISing215-judging by the hair, Dori
What do you want, a fucking cookie?

Its all good, I just mostly wanted to see how people would react. In the end I saw the video and it wasn't bad. Just not my bag.
Just from seeing these few clips I have a feeling Bilbo is going to be getting on my nerves the whole movie.
So I saw it. And it was sort of interesting. But you have to admit it's hard to really get into with all the new characters they are throwing at you every 5 mins.
Then why go and comment on this video knowing you will get negative feed back?
What does Gandalf say after "Who did you tell abuout your quest?" ? I can't understand it!
MissBuecherfreak you’re being hunted
Well, that's interesting you should say that because this is The Hobbit, not Lord of the Rings.
7/10 watchable... don't watch it in 3D takes all the color away

so after trolling on a lotr video saying you would never watch a lotr movie you have ended up watching it.. lol
Sorry. Whatever I said I was probably drunk. Or maybe my nephew wrote. But to be fair it was probably me :P
yea, i think twilight are more up your alley.
errors in the clip: dwarf looks at wolf and continues to look away when it leaps and no blood on sword when killing worg. Hope movie isn't full of this crap.
Hey, cool story. Why don't you go tell someone who cares instead of a bunch of people who love it.
Don't feed the troll.
This scene is like nothing from the book, oh dear
What if he's blind?
false, he clearly looked away before it appeared
lol
your loss.
Nobody is angry...

He got on my nerves in the book.
Can... I have a cookie?

Get a life.
Yeah, but I posted just in case it was a legit stupid comment.
lol, bring it down a notch....
see what i did there?
Ever think it was a ploy to get LOTR/Hobbit fanboys bloomers in a bunch and spout out entire volumes of hate speech?
If he was blind, why would he be on UA-cam?
Making a stupid comment just for the sake.
Making another stupid comment just for the sake of it.
sucks for you
hes a hobbit, of course he going to get on your nerves!! unless its stuffing its face with food or drink and thus cannot speak,
too much bla bla bla...dissapointed!
It's not great, feels like the whole film is pandering to 9 year olds.
