Your enthusiasm is soooo wonderful - your energy inspires to free play and art fun. I kind of miss you making tea, lunch and cuddling the cat in between art stuffff ❤🥰 Loveeee cloudgazing …
Aw yay I'm so glad to hear that, it's easy to be enthusiastic about new art supplies haha! Hope you'll enjoy my new vlog, coming next Friday! (contains tea, lunch AND cat lol)
The liquid is usually used as an eraser for markers (sort of like a white out product). It's great for using it to dot and add marks on markers, etc. I love your weird creatures! ♥ and watching your creative process and the courage to experiment and try it all. Great video! 🙂
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video Cathie! I'm excited to try out the liquid a bit more, maybe in my art journaling process. I bet there's cool randomness to be achieved.
Oooh exciting to see you unboxing and playing with supplies 🎨 I signed up with Upcrate last month so my box should arrive any day. Not sure if it’s the same as yours but always love new art supplies, who doesn’t? 😂 fab video thanks for sharing 👍🏻
What a fun Play verykool I have done that with My grand kids to make the weirdest creatures or houses it is fun to do and stretch the imagination . kool art supplies in that box and alot for the price so Kool . Thanks for sharing hon.
Fun stuff! They chose really nice color combos. I like the idea behind these boxes which is to experiment with supplies you're not used to and expand your skill set plus discover a new medium to love. So far I've received one Upcrate box (April #32) and loved it! A really good value for the money plus I had lots of fun with the supplies. Can't wait for the next one! (I hope the quality continues.)
@@iris-impressions-art There were various Edding acrylic markers in bright blue, pink, white and lime green plus a giant, black wedge-shape marker and a 3-d giant yellow marker that has puffy, raised paint. There was also a graphite pencil with hard lead, and 8 pages of sturdy paper with a linen-like texture made for acrylic/oil/paint. Also a 75 page (!) booklet jam packed with art info. Pretty cool.
I love how you have used a tool that is probably meant to reverse mistakes and be more perfect to increase the randomness and imperfection of your marks and colours! Fabulous, quirky creatures X I would love to subscribe to a more local (Australian) version of Upcrate. I'll have to do some research. Also, the 'çloud-gazing' technique you mentioned- that is literally how I find faces in random acrylic ink splodges :) XX.
Ooh I love your take on that, yes you're probably right! I hope you can find a local art supply subscription service! One of the reasons I was excited about Upcrate was because it's Europe based so doesn't have so far to travel.
I think ecoline is a dye based ink (but marketed as 'watercolour ink' because it generally acts in the same way i.e. non permanent), whereas watercolours are simply pigments with a bit of binder. I imagine that dyes react with bleach, but pigments don't.
Love your creatures! And you saying this is an ear, legs, tail..... For me it was clear, and if not, my imagination would do wonders ;)
What a fun box! Your creatures are fabulously quirky and weird. Perfect!
Loved this one. Can't help but smile at your weird critters xxx
that was fun Iris! Neat supplies!

Yess I love it for that reason too. I'm curious, what was in the April box?

Ecoline markers are watercolor , so i dont get why this miracle bottle dont work on the watercolor paint. 🤷
