I don't understand why a person would bring their car to you for a muffler delete when they have a throttle body issue. Isn't that more important than how the exhaust sounds? 😂
I really appreciate this video as I recently bought myself an SC400 with stock exhaust and wanted to see and hear some options to help plan my own upgrades. That double X pipe system seems like the winner to me, and not something I would have likely thought of. Thanks for the great video!
love the comparisons, it's good you're sharing this with the world. I'm surprised none of the customers wanted after market header as the manifolds on these things are very restrictive.
@@KingLexus I paid $850 Australian dollars for my headers and that was the easy part, the hard part was the 12 to 14 hours I spent getting the old system out. An exhaust shop quoted me over 2.2k for a cat back system, without the headers. I purchased everything inc hurricane headers, 12X 45 bends, 2X crossovers (X-pipes), straight thru mufflers, 2X tips and some straight pipe and did it myself for 1.5k. I could have spent over double by letting someone else do it, but I do not recommend attempting this job unless you are fully prepared and have a good amount of mechanical experience, rounding an almost impossible nut to get to on the manifold could mean engine then has to come out, don't expect to just undo nuts and bolts rather expect to brute force snap stainless steel fasteners, this is a warning to anyone who attempts this job.

That sounds like a blown throttle body fuse. That happened to my car a Gs400 model trying to replace the battery i accidentally crossed the cables and it did that exactly i was barely able to drive it down the street to a shop. And they said it was literally a blown fuse.
@john behm As the owner of the car💀, i thought it need new cats so I went into the shop thinking to get 2 new cats , but later found out I don’t have any. So I ended getting the exhaust anyway.
