I love Neko and Kathryn sounds great here as well. I always want to hear the full band with Neko, but sometimes she won't be there (ugh). Yet, I'll listen to this video fifty more times probably because it sounds great and they, including Kathryn (of course) sound great.
IMHO....one of the greatest songs ever written. The slow buildup is epic! Not the best sound on this one....piano hurts the ears late....and yes....Neko is amazing, although she does a great job filling in for her...
Hard to be critical of the sound. Probably recorded from the PA and not from the board. Likely not mixed properly. Agree about Neko. Actually Kathryn does a very creditable job--she has a good voice. Neko is distinctive and very powerful. This band is capable of some stunning vocal work. Their best is right up there with the Beach Boys. That said--they are stronger with Neko (and Kathryn).
@juleisha123 Yeah, the camera sure loves her as much as we do. Neko gets all the attention, but this one is very cute ---and a good singer too. Been loving this song for days and years.
Kathryn is amazing here - totally singing perfect lead vocal while seemingly someone else plays the rockin piano counter beat . . . but that's her too

piano is pretty prominent, cant hear much of the vocals that aren't AC or Kathryn - but at least there's different angles and no distortion
LOVE this. But am I crazy, or does that keyboard sound like a toy? Needs some sustain or something.
Piano's WAY too loud... Unnecessarily drowns out the big drumming finish.
