My favorite thing about this band is that they aren't afraid to try new things and stay true to their roots at the same time. These two tracks remind me of a mix between EOS and RTP with a wicked twist. Loving it! Already preordered. Give me more before I lose control!

Adam Barling I really think “Die For You” and “Same Disease” are super catchy too. Most people don’t agree cause they don’t like that album lol. I love it though...
They were definitely catchy, but that album went for a stripped down rock sound that was completely different from their previous work - they lost a lost of the 'body' that the strings gave their tracks and essentially changed genre. The thing I love about Still Alive (probably even more relevant for Losing Control) is that they've managed to keep the 'body' with a combination of strings and electronics while also being catchy. The best of both worlds IMO :)
Ugh, Same Disease is the worst song they have ever made. So repetitive.

My favorite song from the Gone Album.
Red truly never disappoints me, from their epic debut that still stands solid today to this new stuff! I really love this song and feel the lyrics are resonating. One thing I love about these guys is they are not afraid to write for all types of emotion. Somewhat in the same vein of "Let it Burn" only "Still Alive" is very firey and almost raged filled, representing to the point where everything feels like it's falling apart and we're still alive and we're wondering why, what's the point? That point you want to give up 'cause you wonder if you're even making a difference, you think it's all going well then it all does a 180. Like you're still alive after failing a mission, whether that be in trying to reach someone or whatever it is. That's just the vibe I personally get from the song, and I like how they are willing to explore such an emotion with passion yet I don't feel it's hopeless either. Looking forward to more tracks~

Alright now listening the whole album, the way "Step Inside, The Violence" ends and suddenly "Still Alive" starts is quite well achieved. This is maybe helped by the fact that both songs are in the same key, just like the "Fight Inside - Death Of Me - Mystery of You" trio in Innocence & Instinct. I always love this from RED. They know which order to put their tracks in.
This proves once again why RED is my favorite band.
So glad I discovered Starset last week. Must've been inspired to discover them right before RED announced the new album.
