In this video, I will show you a simple trick "How to make Sliced Texts in Adobe Illustrator".

Welcome to my tutorial, in this video, we will learn how to make Sliced Texts on Adobe Illustrator.
This Sliced Text is a very simple text effect, we will only make texts that look like sliced into two pieces by several lines. This text effect is pretty good if you apply to texts like short quotes.
In this video, you will also learn a simple trick, how to simply divide the objects using the option on Pathfinder.

Try making an outline first. Type your text, select, right click -> create outlines. Select all (line included) -> divide. there you go :)

why you asking to yourself?
shift + ↑ or ↓ gives the same distance and direction when you moving objects and also gives a wider distance, this will be very helpful if you have to move objects proforsionally.
