For your spotting aircraft its much easier if you set the orbiting altitude to 2000. That way you generally can see the whole island at any given point in the orbit.
I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing something. If I'm even at 1,000 I often can't see anything. The game either applies a heavy-handed haze, simply blurs the details out, or else draws in something that I can only define as a flat low-lying cloud that rises out of the ground and obscures everything. I've actually brought down my spotting aircraft altitudes in order to see more but then of course I have to make sure I keep them far enough offshore that they don't get shot at and they're not necessarily safe from missiles.
Are we able to send a plane, tank or copter to a target to attack something with the AI or would the player have to do everything? Would I be able to send an AI to sink a ship and fire the torpedos itself and return? The game seems to confusing and complicated. A good how to video would really be good explaining all the options and how to. Would the AI do the virus takeover thing itself or does the player have to do everything?
You can do all of that and more. I can definitely set up a video like that. It wouldn’t be too hard. But all the stuff you asked about you can do. I very rarely take manual control of a vehicle unless I want it to do something very specific.
@@Colt2020 I would love to learn about the game. When you play show people what your doing, why and kind of explain what does what and why. Thanks so much if that is possible, this game looks really fun but 1 player seems like it would be overwhelming to say the least.
And can someone explain how can you use the life boat? I couldn't get inside of it. Do you have to activate the self destruct system or have low hp? I just recently realized that it exists.
I dont think that you can because I tried with some friends of mine and it didnt work even when we activated the Self Destruct. You can jump over the side of the ship though.
@@Colt2020 maby they are still working on it. I was really surprised to find out the lifeboat. I love that you can explore the ship and see how everything is functioning.
@@Colt2020 I played the original game like a madman, but I've "heard" that aircraft can only be controlled with keyboard buttons. Although I can easily tolerate the graphics because the game options look great, controlling aircraft with a joystick is a must. I'll not buy the game until I can establish that.

Okay thanks for the tip!

@@hiddenmm3038 I' m playing solo, and no there is no overwhelming if you act concentrate and not rushed, you just have to take your time or you lose.

Question: Can the player control aircraft with a joystick?
Actually I haven’t tried but it may be worth a shot.
