After amendment of ASME Y14.5, newly designed drawing are according to ASME Y14.5 2018 standard. Earlier and old drawing were designed according to ASME Y14.5 2009 standard. Hence if we use GD&T in our design we have to use ASME Y14.5 2018 latest standard
Unilateral, bilateral are not a GD&T standard, its a types of tolerance giving method. Unilateral is when the dimension tolerance is allowed to vary on any one side ( example : 100 +0.010/-0.000 (or) 100 +0.000/-0.010) Bilateral is when the dimensions tolerance allowed to varying in both side ( example : 100 +/- 0.010 (or) 100 +0.010/-0.020)

Which one are we using now
