- Cheat code tools are those tools that you absolutely don't need to get a job done, but....make the jobs so much easier and efficient that you will never be without those tools again doing work. Some tools can be over kill, but are a super convenience on the job site.
Here from my Ford F450, to a Makita XGT beam saw, each has a story on why they are a cheat code tool for me.

I finally got a track saw last year (XGT) and it has been great to have. Takes a lot less space than the table saw too.
It’s a great tool
Unfortunate part about the 450 is your legal max towing limit from what I've learned. My 2500 has a gvw of 11,200. I was towing a 15k trailer and was over the limit by 200lbs. Now if I get a class A cdl then I can tow over 26k. I'm not sure what other states rating are, but I can't tow over 10k for work here without a Class B license.
Yes, being a 14k gvw vehicle it limits the trailer towing but class A CDL is in my near future.
The Makita 18v XDS01 went from a luxury tool to a have to have it tool. It's something that if it broke tomorrow I'd replace it immediately. For patch and repair work,
it's pretty awesome.
At least your only Makita 18v tool is a Japanese made tool.
Have you tried dewalt miter saw? Still prefer makita? Its just heavier
Yes. Milwaukee and Dewalt saws are about same quality level. Still gets the job done but Makita is just a bit higher quality imho.
I was put-off by that dandelion in front of your garage door. 🌻👎
