I understood almost whole thing of ABC Analysis after seeing your video thank you. Can you explain how you defined A, B, C class ? from the % usage of total usage
Agree with the below comment. I like the way you explained it. But just one thing I got confused when you say to multiply but you use the term “into”, which is not used for multiplying, it is used for division. Instead you can say “times”. In other words, 24,000 “times” 100 and then “divided by or into” 74,000. Other than that, thank you very much for your explanation 👍
We have to consider only the annual usage value not the cost of the item. A class items may be low priced items. For example, in the case of a printing press, the price of the paper per kg may be less. But it becomes A class because of its high annual usage value. Printing ink may be costly. But its annual usage value is less. So, it may be either B or C class item.
But I think in real time the occurrence of repeated values for total cost per year will not exist according to my knowledge, if you have come across anything of that sort please do share
Ajay Vasanth Well, theoretically if two items have the same cost and same unit demand that would happen, but I guess it’s not very likely. The issue I’m having is that In trying to do the analysis with only unit sales/demand and there are many repeated values.
Hello, i have a doubt i.e. in our books the category elements of ABC is given A category as highest as A=70% B=20%, C=10% and in u r video it shown differently as A as lowest B as follows can u explain wch is better?
There are just 2 parameters taken into picture one is cost and the other is demand. The parameters that you have mentioned might directly affect the demand. That is an entirely different study, where is the demand has to found
Excellent Explanation and very simple idea of ABC Analysis of Inventory Control,
I appreciate Mr Ajay Gob Bless You.

(cumulative % of B)-(cumulative % of A)= %usage
How have you classified AB and c

Sir how this %usage is calculated i.e how we got that 81.3%,16.2%,2.5% @18:20
Hi bro
How do we determine a b c class?
Sir if we have same percentage then how should we rank it?? Can you please clarify this
Thank you sir
Thank you so much for the lesson.
What would happen if in the total cost per year column there were repeated values, how would this affect the analysis?
But I think in real time the occurrence of repeated values for total cost per year will not exist according to my knowledge, if you have come across anything of that sort please do share
