With the system as is with the powder hopper and not the vortex cup gun attachment. Is it a lot of trouble to change colors while doing multicolored cups?
Hi I’ve had the 3.0 gun for a few years now and was wondering why you spray with such a high kv. I spray with 45 kv and was wondering what effects you get with spraying with such a high kv. Do you get a thicker coat? Does it turn out better than spraying with a lower kv? I’m still learning and experimenting. I use the cup like you have attached on the gun with the same tip as you also. Thanks

Hi I’m start doing small powder coating job for me and couple friends and I like your videos and I’m just want if you can recommended me a good powder coat set up and I don’t want to start with a cheap setup like hf or Eastwood I’m looking around columbia coatings hyper smooth Kool Koat , redline ez100 spectra coat but not expensive like Wagner just please if u can recommended me one pro or cons
The harbor freight that I own has no problems filling those areas that he mentioned. Why would I spend more money for a unit that I'd have to make mods to so I can fill in points. I would be interested in a unit that had more voltage for larger parts like a vehicle frame, or large sheets of metal/ wood.

What size are the caps, brackets, fittings that you used to modify the siphon feed hopper? Where did you buy them? I want to make my own hoppers.
