I once was detecting and found some toy cars at this vacant lot. Later found out that it was the same spot where there were some violent tornadoes that had killed people. I returned everything I found. You did the right thing I think j

9:00 One of my hunting partners once found a ring...still on the finger . It was the 1990s when our small club was asked, by law enforcement, to search a known mob dump area for 'items'. The group found bones and one friend found a wedding ring still on the finger/hand.

Sweet Heart Locket, a Pilot gave to his girl friend or wife before going off to war, a most excellent find . maybe WW2. Since it had ashes in it , it would be in remembrance of the loved one who never made it back.

That thing with the hole in it that you couldn't identify is a nozzle for a spray texture gun used in drywall texture finish.

I love spanish moss. Those trees look so cool. I lived in Pensacola Florida for years and use to love seeing that stuff hanging on a tree.

Phillip, I believe your mystery item may be from a trumpet, where the push-button slides are.
Mike's marble is a Vitro Agate plant example from Parkersburg West Virginia , a late 1940s blue on white base marble is called a "Conqueror". Sold originally in a mesh bag that had the name of Conqueror on label and battle axes on sides of label. They sold a lot of them so fairly common type marble. Gnats have been terrible this year in South Alabama.
Just long as it's not like Gilligan's island, they took a 3 hour tour and ended up shipwrecked. In y'all's case you'd be landlocked or something? Lol! Dig on boys, dig on 🤘🤘
14:15 that round cap with the knurled edge is a retaining ring for a trumpet key. Gotta find one, I guess!
A nice hunt, some great items tell Philip that small screw cap looks like it goes on an icing tube for decorating cookies. My grandma used it for decorating cakes. Long trip this time around.
Interesting locket. I was thinking that the cap was from a dispensing bottle for olive oil or such. I found the neck of a broken bottle with a cap like that.
I found remains too once, a lower jaw w teeth. It was within the Spring Creek Trail around the old Routh homestead area in Richardson.
Can't do the monthly but was blessed with extra this month so I pass it on. Was my birthday April 30th. Still getting! Yee-Haa! Watch out for the invasion of the gnats. 😊

Locket with wings, probably from WW2. Sweetheart Locket. Guys going into AAF bought all kinds of stuff for the girlfriends, wives, and mothers. The ashes, no telling. Get Avon Skin So Soft for gnats. Rub that on.

BTW I'll tell you how to get rid of the gnats hanging around your face / head. Spray some rebel (deet 4) or off on a hat then wear the hat. The gnats will stay at a distance from your face.
Real vanilla. A few small dabs does the trick.
