Snowcat Ridge 2021 | A Snow Park in FLORIDA?!

- Florida's FIRST (and only as far as I'm aware) snow park has reopened in Dade City for their 2021 season and I'm checking it out for the first time ever! Snowcat Ridge is a pretty solid holiday family offering north of Tampa, Florida that features ice skating, an indoor snow play area, and the main attraction....400ft LONG slides down a 60ft TALL hill that go pretty darn fast! I had a fun time checking this place out on its opening day and I hope this video answers any questions you might have if you're looking to visit this year! Wachow!

Thank YOU for watching VincentVision (wachow!), where every week I share you my adventures in Orlando, Florida, regions beyond, galaxies far far away...you name it! Join in on the fun and be sure to LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE!
That’s a nice opportunity for a state where you won’t otherwise see snow. The slide looks fun. That snow looked more like ice tho.
Hi Vincent. My husband is from South Dakota and we miss the snow since we live in Jacksonville now. Our son is almost 13 and he would LOVE that park. Thank you so much for sharing as always!
I’m a little late watching this one but I loved it. Watching you try to walk in that igloo and not slip made me laugh. Reminds me of every day in Jan-Feb trying to walk to my car just praying I don’t end up on my butt.
I live like 25 minutes from here but I needed Vincent Vision to drive an hour and a half for me so he could give me all the deets! 😆👏❄️ i think at night the atmosphere will be quite festive & jolly ☺️ It seems like Dade city gets all the fun things, they had the Renn Faire, Scream-A-Gheddon and now this!
👻👸🏻☃️
That looks fun and different for Orlando.
Good to see this place made it to year 2! lol
Looks like fun. It's near that rope forest too.
This was very informative!!
Awesome 👌 video
Thnk you 4 the info!!! Nice vid!
This looks like so much fun! Wachow
What a great park. We are only an hours drive away so will be coming this month.
You need to go to the poconos!!!! 😂😂😂 too funny!
Fun fact: The actual highest natural point in FL is Britton Hill (yes, FL has legitimate hills), located on the Panhandle by the Georgia border. Its elevation....only 345 feet. Which is actually lower than the highest point of the state with the lowest mean elevation...Delaware
Last time I used a hill lift like that one, we were allowed to just sit in the snow tube and let the mechanical lift pulling us up the hill do all the work. No need to stand. If you want to experience REAL snow activities, I recommend a visit to Lake Placid. One of two places in America, and one of the only places in the world, where the public can legitimately do bobsleighing on an actual Olympic track
Was just there it was so fun
Dude I appreciate you!
I appreciate YOU for watching!
Looks busy.
Thank you😊
You should come to the north and see some real snow.
Great video! Looks like fun. :)
Do you know when the TripleFive Indoor Ski Slope is set to open in Miami? Is that still on?
Couldn't tell ya :(
Congratulations for not falling on your butt. It looks like a fun event for families.
Me and my family are going there right now
It sounds fun I'm really excited
Hi me lol I did that on my mother's phone
Lol haha
Fr

@@VincentVision I will I'm kinda scared as well but oh well 😅
Lol wait there fast cool
@@VincentVision do people work there
@@VincentVision I just went it was really fun especially the slides after 13 seconds we were down really fast and they jumped the family one yeah there was a family one I needed my mom to hold me but 3 times i was brave enough for her not to hold me
looks like fun ! I think I would rather have hot toddies and Irish Coffee instead of beer though...
Oh I know you would
If you want to go skiing, then go up to northern Florida/southern Georgia when it snows
The nearest actual ski opportunies to Florida are ski resorts located in North Caroline, lol. It doesn't snow nearly enough in Georgia or Northern Florida (especially northern Florida) to support skiing or tubing.
So only the igloo has real snow, the other is a slide down plastic rollers. Could see go once for half a day as how many times do you want to go down a straight slide?
So how was the finical last year, I think this was too much of gamble unless they were able to build it for under a $1M. Location could be better if by I4 corridor.
I’m going tonight with family! 1 hour and 15 minutes away from me.
How was it?
Same here and same time length i think aswell
Wonder if this same company did the snow that Disney had back with Frozen Summer fun. When they had a snowground
Wish i was there to have a snowball fight with you… I love snowball fights no holding back
Disappointing that its ice tracks and not tubing on snow. I get that its FL, near where I live, but I thought it was a sub zero ground keeping snow alive. Or they coulda built something inside with clear walls etc. idk about ice tracks being exciting. Snowing or skiing on artificial snow in FL woulda been cool
Hey 👋 Vincent.
Watching this as a canadian kind of makes me sad. We are sick of snow for over half the year and the cold gets old real fast for us.
Shat clothing should you wear
Who knew? Snow sledding in Florida. Lol
If you want to burn expensive marshmallows over flames. Every camper knows you use coals.
$43 right now for basic entrance and I’m undecided I really don’t want to waste my money.
Surprised it’s still open honestly! Just figured it was a winter thing
I was hurt bad!! Realize they don’t know what they are doing
No is not typically slippery why is it more like ice
Thanks for saving me money
Anytime 😂
Snow IS soft... that is highly compacted powdered ice you were walking on. Come on up north and experience the real stuff!
Not at all like snow. Water park is better in Fl. Leave snow to the real stuff. Not worth the money. Really really expensive for nothing.
Why $15 to park, aren't they the ones that want you to come? Lol...
hey vin man!
This place is trash, I was the there last year and literally everything was close. They had 2 vendors open selling junk, the "snow" was compacted, after been in there for 5 minutes they where closing the
Igloo to work on the snow. The slides is just that a slide, no snow involved. If you like to waist your money then go ahead and go there.
