I'm rewatching your videos again for a flight I'm taking this week. Thank you for all you do for us and your help. I just realized what you said about your dad, how sweet about his pearl necklace gift for you. Thanks for sharing. And am so sorry about your father's passing. Time and Jesus are a healer. May God bless and heal you and your family dearly and abundantly cover y'all in His love and heavenly peace that knows no bounds. Amen. 🕊️🤍
I love the bag, but certainly an investment piece. It's sold out at the moment in black. What a sweet story of your dad and the pearl necklace. Thanks for the tips.
Great video. A tip for cottons that need ironing is to pack a small (tiny) spray bottle. When you get to your destination, hang your clothes in the bathroom and give them a good spritz. They won't look perfectly ironed but if the cotton or linen is light, you won't have obvious creases. Also I found that I can take water on flights by using a couple of 50 ml plastic containers that you'll find a dollar store. It's enough water to see you through until you can get water on the aircraft. I usually pack a hard plastic (yes, I know, plastic, but it's light) glass to put my water in. All flights I've been on give you water in soft receptacles that mean you have to drink all the water at once. The sturdy 'glass' sits in the seat pocket and doesn't spill.
Love the Minkeeblue bag, so we'll organized! You really know how to pack and offer great tips, Laurie. Also like the new national parks packing cubes. I always have a fear, well not a fear maybe anxiety, because each airline seems different according to their guidelines and sometimes it's confusing to me (chemo brain doesn't help, lol). You are certainly a travel pro and offer us the best ideas and tips. 🛩 Heartfelt condolences on the passing of your Dad. ⚘⚘
Thank you! Yes I wanted to show the bag under the 737 and a SouthWest airplane seat b/c sometimes their site seems so strict. This was easy to fit under seats.

Whew, I’m going to have to watch this again-so many great tips! Glad to hear you had a great birthday trip. I’m watching this at 5:30 in the morning because it’s like hearing from a friend and I couldn’t wait to catch-up. I recently started buying quite a few clothing outfits from Amazon because I appreciate the photos that people post to see what the item looks like on normal people. Same with your video - I like that you are willing to say “I don’t love it yet” or “it’s too heavy” along with your recommendations.
So sorry for the loss of your dad ❤️ and these tips are great. One tip - take the roll up slippers and pack inside a pair of shoes like socks, can be rolled up or flat.
Thank you for your videos from one teacher to another! I traveled this year for the first time in years and I felt so prepared having seen several of your tips and videos. I’d love more updated videos on everything especially shoes. I love your clothing tips and updated videos on bags, purses. In general what I appreciate the most is that you always consider mobility and weight of items (shoes) so that we won’t be exhausted by the end of the day when using items like side purses all day long etc. 🙏🏽👍🏼don’t stop. Cute slippers. I like to pack Fit Kicks. They take up virtually no space, work for indoors and outdoors, don't mind water and can even be used for beach shoes. You can use them on the beach, wash them off in the hotel sink, hang them on a pants hanger to dry, and they'll be dry by the time you get back from dinner.
Laurie, thank you so much for all your trip tips! I have been blessed to travel nationally and internationally. It has been several years since my last trip. I will now be going to Israel for 11 days with my church group, in Sept.
Thanks for sharing this list. I wish i could see the links on this video for some of those items your suggesting. Love your videos, have watched a lot of them for my upcoming trip. So sorry for the loss of your dad. Happy 20th🎉Anniversary!

I just ordered that black stripe carry-on I saw on one of your blogs with a trolley sleeve. For my last trip I picked up a collapsible silicone water bottle. For jewelry in hotel room I use a water glass but like the peanut butter lid idea! For my cosmetics to put on bathroom counter I picked up a collapsible cloth holder. Base has a covered cardboard and it folds flat. Opens to a rectangular I have a larger one for things I like for room snacks. Good for small paper plates, disposable forks etc, can put condiments in small paper cups in it. Keeps everything organized and not all over the room desk.
Love the peanut butter lid hack!! Great idea, thanks! Glad I'm not the only one who is obsessed with bag hardware! I'm hard on shoulder/crossbody bags for some reason and hate flimsy clips and things. I don't understand why so many manufacturers put straps that are sewn to the bag on one end while the other end hooks. I want the ability to replace the strap if needed. Snaps that don't stay snapped make me crazy so I like magnets and especially zippers on pockets. I have way too many bags that just didn't work for me. 🤣
I have the Minkee blue backpack and I LOVE it! The quality is amazing and there are so many perfect pockets and nooks for all my items. I just love it! I store all my liquids and snacks in the bottom portion of the bag. I remove the insulated container and my rectangular liquids bag fits perfectly in there along with a couple chargers and my Clorox wipes. Great video! I too highly recommend Minkee Blue!
Helpful hint for those with walking or other mobility issues. Very important - as I have mobility issues, must walk with a cane, I request a wheelchair when I get my ticket. On my last trip to California I took shuttle from Duluth MN to MSP. Got a wheelchair escort from the curb and it was a long journey to my gate. MSP is a big airport. Gave the attendant $10, best tip ever. Staff at gates are always very helpful. This service is at any airport, you just have to ask. They will also take you down the boarding ramp or meet you with a wheelchair when the plane lands. Tipping is optional but considering the service I believe it shows how grateful you are & I always tip.
Love, love, love a hack! I have many of the items you have suggested and love them. Just recently tried an inexpensive, regular neck brace you can buy at a drugstore in place of an airplane neck pillow. It works great and packs smaller (or isn't as bulky if you hang it from the outside of your carrymmon.
One of our absolute must haves is PooPouri! I also like the Zoppen RFID Travel Passport Wallet & Documents Organizer Zipper Case with Removable Wristlet Strap. Makes carrying everything easy and it drops into the front zipper of my backpack or tote. By the way, thanks to your videos, my husband and I packed for a 3 week trip to Itay and cruise back to the US in a carry-on and backpack/tote each!! Thanks for all you do.
First off I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in January, it's so hard. I loved you story about the pearl necklace. Thanks for this video they help so much.
Ugg, the idea of a valet tray or even a pnutbutter lid just reminded me that I left my favorite, best, gold earrings at a hotel a few months back. Unfortunately, I did not get them back. I wish I would’ve thought of something like that. I will in the future thanks.!
My Amazon travel essentials: Love my little Anker PowerCore 10000 (I have the blue one) - has done me so much justice and charges my phone 6 times (one reason I _love_ having a flip phone - battery lasts *_forever_* and charges super fast), my kindle 3 times, or my mp3 player I'm not sure how many times (haven't tested it yet, probably 3-5 times though). While I make sure all of my devices are fully charged before I head to the airport, my kindle somehow ran out of charge the last time I flew (probably because I had 3 flights instead of my usual 2, so it had an extra 2-3 hours of use over what it normally had - considering that it's a Keyboard 3 (made in 2010, I got it "open box" brand new 2 years ago - the only 3G Keyboard 3 I could find anywhere that actually worked), the battery is actually pretty decent still, and when the battery does get to the point of needing to be replaced, I already know where I can get another one), so I just pulled out my little powerbank and knew that I didn't have to worry about it running out of charge. I have a couple little powerbanks from travelocity as well, but they don't last very long (half a phone charge, if even, and that's saying something, considering it's a flip phone), so I don't usually take them traveling. My phone, kindle, mp3 player, wireless earbuds, and another recording device all use a microUSB to USB cord (same one the powerbank uses), so I only ever have to take one cord when traveling. My current flying toiletry bag is from the Bagail brand - mine came as a set of 3 (I've only ever used one because I got them while on my last flying trip); as for whether things fit better when horizontal vs. vertical, it depends on what shape the bag is (whether it opens on the long side or short side) and what you're bringing. I do like that TSA is fine with it even though it's a little bit bigger than a quart, because it means I can pack more of my "liquid" snacks - hummus, applesauce, etc. I got my packing cubes on Amazon as well - they're the eBags medium, small, medium slim, small slim set (don't know whether that set is still available anywhere or not). Picked that set because, out of all the sets I was considering, it was the one that would fit my suitcase dimensions the best (yes, I measured the interior of my suitcase to figure it out, since mine is smaller than standard carry-on size) - I can fit 4 eBags medium cubes in my suitcase. Speaking of, what I ended up using the space for that was freed up by not having to tote my little water purifier in my suitcase was stuffing my packing cubes to absolute capacity as well as putting my sneakers in (granted, that was a road trip, not flying, and I had to bring more clothes than I normally would because we weren't going to be able to do laundry as often as we normally do); can't wait to see what I use that space for the next time I actually fly (and now that United has *_FINALLY_* seen sense to drop their pointless mask rule, that will actually be an option for me again). Something else I always take on flights are my noise cancelling headphones, because the engine and brakes are too loud for me (and my kindle volume doesn't go super high, definitely not high enough to be easily heard over the engines while in the air) - I have the Howard Leight Impact Sport, and while they're great at noise cancelling, the way they work makes it hard to listen to audio with them while still drowning out the engine roar (currently trying to find cordless earbuds to wear under them so I don't have to worry about the cord getting jostled when I put them on and take them off; it's complicated by the fact that my ears are rather small and my ear canals are tiny, so most wings and over-ear hooks, and even nearly all the little pillow things (can't remember what they're called) that go in the ears, are way too big for me); however, the sound amplification feature really came in handy when I was running sound backstage at our last play - I could easily hear everything that was said onstage, despite zero microphones, me facing the opposite direction of the actors (so even harder to hear), and the 60+ mph wind gusts whipping through (oh, did I mention we did it outside?). They fold down really small, and I have the case for them (bought it separately), which fits in my backpack quite nicely, and has room inside it for a short aux cord (which I used with them in the actual airport, since I didn't have to drown out engine noise there). I also got the better ear pads (the gel ones by Zohan), since being able to wear them over my glasses was super important (I had a pair of noise cancelling headphones before, but they were so insanely tight I couldn't wear them over my glasses without it triggering a migraine); extra perk is that the actual ear cups are pretty flat, so I can even lie down on my side without it forcing my head up at a weird angle. Still trying to determine whether I'm going to eventually get a better set (ones where I can actually listen to audio at full volume while still reaping the full benefits of the noise cancellation), but I haven't found any yet that are highly rated and are still within my price range (I like how V Moda fold down small - that's an absolutely non-negotiable feature - but I can't afford them).
I love my neck pillow like that! I bought it for the car. I sleep in a hospital bed partially sitting up and the neck pillow keeps my head and neck aligned when I sleep. It is so comfy! I am so sorry about your dad.💜
I have a tip for you, you might be interested in and that is take an extra pair of no-show socks and put them over your socks while going through TSA then you can either throw them away or put in ziplock bag to wash later. You can buy them at the Dollar Tree so if you choose to throw them away they were only a dollar twenty-five here now where I live. Just an idea I thought I would share with you because I love your videos.
I am a new subscriber. I just discovered your vlogs. Love them but I especially love that you show your adorable fur baby. Fur baby wants to be in your vlogs. I just love it!!
So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. My Dad has been gone 35 years this month (half my life. Mom 16 years). I miss them both every day. My condolences.
I found a couple of hard-sided carry on that has a front compartment built-in. They are both made by Monos. They are the Carry On Plus or the Carry On Plus Pro
Thank you so much for sharing your travel tips! They are extremely helpful for my next international long trip. I bought a few of your recommendations, except for the Minkeeblue tote bag. I do like the bag, but I don't usually travel with a carry-on where it can sit. I like to check-in, instead of being always worried if there will be room in overhead compartment bins when on-boarding. I just bought a London fog underseat bag. It is small but mighty - has many pockets and easy opening from front. I can also put it on top of larger suitcase before check-in the larger one. I will use it as the tote bag :)
I just purchased, from Calpak, the Hue Duffle bag, which is so cute (in the pink color I chose) and so functional. Lots of pockets and it has the Trolley strap in the back so it fits over your carry on extended handle.
Lots of info. Unfortunately not all the items are available in Canada. I agree the hard shell suitcase definitely needs a pocket. I’m finally heading back to Scotland next week for 25 days to see family and travel around. I love the compression cubes, definitely the way to go. We have first row seats which I normally never book, as I am 5 ft tall, but I just could not deal with someone in front of me this trip. If you are in a front seat, no seat in front to store your bag. Pack a smaller cube with your ‘during flight’ essentials. I-Pad, wipes, Kleenex, earphone’s, snacks, flight slippers, etc. Then you can place it beside you in your seat or put it back in the overhead and they will be easier to find.
I don't know how many airlines have this (I know Denver Air does, not sure about others), but the last time I flew bulkhead, I put my in-flight essentials in a small drawstring bag and tucked it under my seat - there was enough room underneath my seat at the very front of it for me to tuck the bag without it being in the way of the bag of the person sitting behind me (there was a bar separating the place I put my bag from where the other person's bag was). I can empathize with sitting in bulkhead when you're only 5' tall, though - I think I stuck my feet straight out in front of me and rested them on the wall for most of the flight.
Laurie, I like the jewelry organizer you show but I am curious. Will that work for a long necklace? I don't wear much jewelry but I do have a long delicate light chain type necklace I want to take for evenings on a cruise.
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie yes! At first it felt like a waste of money and my husband thought I was being ridiculous purchasing it, but then I tried it and found it to be indispensable for holding all my important stuff together at the bed stand. Things can so easily be swept off onto the floor and lost forever and this item gives me a feeling of security.
Ooh I was so excited to see a new video from you for Amazon travel goodies. Because I have watched for a few previously I’m happy to say I have a few of them. A few I will be grabbing soon. Sometimes being from Canada they are not always available to me. Can’t wait for the next tip. 😊
I do a backpack, a carry on for personal items and a hard-sided carry on. I have added a tiny (and I mean tiny) crossbody bag that just holds my cardholder and phone and wear this through security. Once I'm waiting in boarding & done buying any last minute coffee, etc. on the walk to the gate, I tuck this in to my personal item bag. I absolutely LOVE my hard sided carry on (major overpacker and this keeps me from the embarrassment of having my soft sided luggage no longer fit in the overhead) but as you said, the no pockets thing is a drag, and having to root through my backpack or tote, even though it's a picture of organization w/ all its pouches never worked well for me. I always seemed to panic or just be annoyed at zipping/unzipping things to get the ID & phone to scan boarding pass, and the little crossbody has worked well for this purpose. Plus it's a great second bag on the trip when you don't need much.
I just love your style and you and your husband are so cute! You made me laugh! Traveling for the first time with an infant and internationally so you’re giving me so many tips!
I have the same wet bags and passport book i flying for the first time next march to Las vagas and I got Pre check so I dont have to worry about Tsa line.
Monos makes hardsided carry ons with a "pocket" that opens. I've been looking at them for ages and want one (but don't need it). They are pricey, even on sale, so I just keep looking anadd wishing. Thanks for the video! I'm semi-retiring in June, so will have more time to travel! My daughter is going on rotations starting in June and I want to go visit her!
Hi Laurie. I am a new subscriber and I love your videos. I am a constant overpacker but I will be trying to change my ways. We have our first trip to England Wales and Scotland coming up at the end of summer (5 week trip) and have learned a lot from your videos. But OMG I don’t know if I can do 5 weeks in a carry on bag. We will be on planes, trains and automobiles and I do not want to have my poor husband carrying my heavy suitcase up flights of stairs when we finally get to our destinations. I hope to use a soft sided duffel style with good wheels and backpack straps to allow me to throw it on my back when going up tight staircases. Cross your fingers for me lol
Hi! My sister and I are traveling this fall to Europe. Our first flight in over 6 years. Your videos have been fantastic in catching us up to current rules and regulations. Last night I sent your video on liquids to my sister and said, “This is the go-to UA-camr I’ve found for airplane travel. LAURIE! There are hard sided suitcases that have a front pocket. I couldn't remember the brand so I Googled it (hard shell suitcase with front pocket). Samsonite even has one now!
I have used so many of your tips on our recent trip to Greece!! One thing I took this time was a small insulated cooler bag ($2 at our local supermarket), not only did it hold my medicine (it was on its own insulated pouch but it was very hot), we purchased some cheese, fruit and other refrigerated snacks to eat along the way while we were driving around the country, it worked great and takes no space. About the airpods, in my experience when for some reason they fall off (turbulence, slippery fingers...) there is no space to maneuver and bend down to look for them in economy class, so I purchased a cord with magnets, they attach to the airpods and prevent this.Thank you for all the tips, hacks and recommendations!!
I love your videos, thanks! I'd like to see something about a 10-day cruise to UK, following a long flight...saw your one on packing for long flight, was very helpful!
Love your videos as well as the products and tips you recommend! I would love to see a video of recommended vacation locales as well as where you stayed. Both short trips and longer ones. Thank you!
Hey, Laurie, just wanted to let you know that some other people have asked down below if you could please put the links for the compression cubes and phone prop in the description.
Love your tips and tricks and just started watching you not too long ago because of a trip I'm taking in less than two weeks to Mexico God willing. It will be my first time since my immigration to the states as a baby from Russia that I'm on a plane or out of the U.S. and I've learned allot from you. You have so many good tips and items to grab off Amazon I find myself adding more and more to my cart 😆 Thank you! 👏🏼☺️
I just came back from a trip to Argentina and need to tell you that I’ve never appreciated an item as much as I did the valet tray you recommended here. I would’ve never thought of purchasing this but figured I could use it. Well, we traveled to a few more “rustic” places like Iguazú Falls and Cafayate and none of the hotels had nightstands so my glasses, earrings and phone laid on this little thing on the floor. This was sooo useful I already ordered a few more as gifts to my traveling friends.
Just got back from a 7 day river cruise on the Seine plus added 3 days extra in Paris for our 31st wedding anniversary and my hubby and I packed with a carry on and backpack each. Packed a foldable duffel in hubby’s carryon and a foldable tote in mine for souvenirs. We checked in both carryon, hubby’s backpack and the duffel on the way home. Interestingly enough, we didn’t have to take out our liquids bag out of our bag. Just electronics. Packing light clothes where you can layer with a uniform color scheme is a must. Add a pop of color to your otherwise black and white/ gray outfits with silk scarves. Very European looking and you will not stand out as a tourist. Packed good walking shoes. We walked a total of 90 miles in 11 days we were in France. Book your hotel at the city center or close to all the sights. Our hotel was across Norte Dame cathedral and the Louvre was only 20 min away by foot. We didn’t use the metro or taxi. You’ll miss the opportunity of seeing the city if you use the metro. We walked a lot and did a lot of people watching. You can certainly pick out the Americans by their clothing or their body size. And you’ll not encounter the “rude Parisian’s” if you learn a few French words and always start with a Bonjour wherever you go. Loved Paris.
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie I need good support so I brought Hoka all black shoes and sketcher ankle boots. Hubby had Brooks and adidas. Having extra inserts helped too.

I just found your channel and I am so thankful I did! I will be traveling this summer, flying for the first time in 17 years, and the thought of it is overwhelming. Your channel has been so helpful for me to wrap my brain around all the TSA rules and dos/don'ts of flying. THANK YOU!
Welcome aboard! If you think about the 3 things you'll have to take out before you leave for the airport and get there 2 hours before BOARDING, you will be so proud of yourself. Thank you!
I love that neck pillow. I bought it based on your recommend! I took it on a 5 hour continental flight, but it was a 5:00 am take off time, so I was able to doze off with the help of that pillow! Otherwise, I would have had a crick in my neck for days, or I wouldn't have been able to sleep at all! Also, would love to hear about that Albania trip! Albania has always intrigued me, as my great grandfather immigrated from there, but we know very little about it. He had no photos when he came, and he was so eager to be "American", he never talked about it. (He died before I was born)

I remove the insulated container and my rectangular liquids bag fits perfectly in there along with a couple chargers and my Clorox wipes. Great video! I too highly recommend Minkee Blue!
Thanks for sharing!! Sorry for the delay. I love the Madison tote. The backpack looks so chic.
Thanks so much!
I had such a giggle when you called your emery board a memory board! You have a great sense of humor.
Your the best! So thankful for all your tips. Enjoy your day ☀️
Thank you!
Thank you for your videos. I am taking my first trip in 2 weeks. Your videos have helped sooo much. I am very sorry for the loss of your father.
Oh Misty, thank you! I hope you have an amazing trip. Do not miss the step by step through tsa line video.
One of our absolute must haves is PooPouri! I also like the
Zoppen RFID Travel Passport Wallet & Documents Organizer Zipper Case with Removable Wristlet Strap. Makes carrying everything easy and it drops into the front zipper of my backpack or tote. By the way, thanks to your videos, my husband and I packed for a 3 week trip to Itay and cruise back to the US in a carry-on and backpack/tote each!! Thanks for all you do.
Oh wow; thanks for sharing! Glad it went well!!
I carry that in my nursing bag for work lol it’s amazing
First off I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in January, it's so hard. I loved you story about the pearl necklace. Thanks for this video they help so much.
Thank you so much! Hugs to you.
Brilliant new tote and the glasses as an iPhone stand was such a good hack!
The tote bag is gorgeous. Thanks for watching!
That strawberry dress is adorable on you!
Thanks! I have worn it twice this month!
Beautiful blue lining! 💙 That opening at the bottom of the bag is really neat.
It is such a beautiful twist on a tote bag for travel!
Ugg, the idea of a valet tray or even a pnutbutter lid just reminded me that I left my favorite, best, gold earrings at a hotel a few months back. Unfortunately, I did not get them back. I wish I would’ve thought of something like that. I will in the future thanks.!
Oh no! Yes, it's so sad.
My Amazon travel essentials:
Love my little Anker PowerCore 10000 (I have the blue one) - has done me so much justice and charges my phone 6 times (one reason I _love_ having a flip phone - battery lasts *_forever_* and charges super fast), my kindle 3 times, or my mp3 player I'm not sure how many times (haven't tested it yet, probably 3-5 times though).
Thank you; have a restful sleep tonight too!
Yay! Love your suggestions!
Hope they help with your next trip!
Yes great travel hack!
I am a new subscriber. I just discovered your vlogs. Love them but I especially love that you show your adorable fur baby. Fur baby wants to be in your vlogs. I just love it!!
Isn't he the sweetest?
He sure is!! I really enjoy your vlogs. ☺️
The brightly colored peanut lid has been a game changer. I have been using this hack since watching one of your videos a few years ago.
Yay I’m so glad that tip helped-bright fabric is even less to pack.
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie Great idea! I always keep a bright colored bandanna in my travel bag. Thank you!
Thanks for the reviews. I don't plan on flying anytime soon, but some of these accessories/tips would work for camping too.
They sure would!
I love tim & fin from tripped!
They have the best quality cubes and toiletry bags.
I’m up way too late re-binge watching your videos. Leaving Texas for Cartagena tomorrow evening. Thanks for the great info!
Oh how amazing! What will you do there? Have a beautiful and yummy time!
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie everything but work! ❤️
So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. My Dad has been gone 35 years this month (half my life. Mom 16 years). I miss them both every day. My condolences.
Best tip ever is the folding case that stands up. Got one for my medical equipment prior to Honduras mission. Rrequires only a small space
So smart and helpful!
Stopped by to see what's new. I so appreciate your tip about the size variable of liquid bags.
Thank you; I hope you get to travel intl soon!
Weird, I have been watching your travel videos to get ready for an upcoming trip and see my friend Staci at second 43!
I found a couple of hard-sided carry on that has a front compartment built-in. They are both made by Monos. They are the Carry On Plus or the Carry On Plus Pro
I have a friend who likes hers.
This was great! Thanks for your recommendations!
Hi!!
Ooh thanks; I will look it up. Have fun!
Highly recommend Minkeeblue products!
Have you seen the new bag? Pretty colors
Love your video - hi from Florida
I just purchased, from Calpak, the Hue Duffle bag, which is so cute (in the pink color I chose) and so functional. Lots of pockets and it has the Trolley strap in the back so it fits over your carry on extended handle.
I am amazed at the number of things I have bought based on your videos. Very helpful
Ha! Sometimes I need them and sometimes they're just fun!
Love that travel hack too!
I love your tips, I just wish I was traveling as much as I used to. I miss it so much since the pandemic.
I travel 4 to 5 a year and I loved watching your video
Thank you Brenda!
I've found having a Sharpie brand black marker to be very useful. Love your videos!
Ooh I will add it to my list of things I could use on vacation
Laurie, I like the jewelry organizer you show but I am curious. Will that work for a long necklace? I don't wear much jewelry but I do have a long delicate light chain type necklace I want to take for evenings on a cruise.
If you can pack it in the little pouch with other things, it would be fine. You can also just use a baggie and put it in there too
Thank you. Much appreciated
Thank you for your valuable travel tips. I would use the bottom cube as a makeup case.
Yes! Do you carry alot of makeup on trips?
Great tips and hacks! Having watched you for a while, I already have at least half of these must-haves, thanks to you! :)
I love my Minkeeblue backpack. It also has a bottom shoe/lunch bag compartment. Thanks for the great advice Laurie!
Yes, I showed how I packed clothes in the lunch bag compartment.
i just returned from Ireland. I love the snap together valet for containing my glasses and jewelry at night.
Oh good! Did you use it on the night stand?
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie yes! At first it felt like a waste of money and my husband thought I was being ridiculous purchasing it, but then I tried it and found it to be indispensable for holding all my important stuff together at the bed stand. Things can so easily be swept off onto the floor and lost forever and this item gives me a feeling of security.
I also loved the compression packing cubes for organizing all my clothing
@@mariacasey9629 I agree!
Thanks for the great product ideas. I lost my dad to Dementia, sorry for your loss. I love your content.
Hugs to you!
Ooh I was so excited to see a new video from you for Amazon travel goodies. Because I have watched for a few previously I’m happy to say I have a few of them. A few I will be grabbing soon. Sometimes being from Canada they are not always available to me. Can’t wait for the next tip. 😊
Yes, I have some items from several years ago. Hope they help!
Thanks for your take on that.
I am so sorry about the loss of your dad. Beautiful wedding picture!
Thank you Janice!
I just love your style and you and your husband are so cute! You made me laugh! Traveling for the first time with an infant and internationally so you’re giving me so many tips!
That is awesome! You will sweat like crazy since you have a baby so dress in layers. And have a wonderful time!
Packed the peanut butter top for my Apple Watch so it does not get lost or forgotten. Put my necklace and earrings in their too.
Yay! Have fun.
I have the same wet bags and passport book i flying for the first time next march to Las vagas and I got Pre check so I dont have to worry about Tsa line.
Oh yay I hope you have a great trip!!
Thanks for sharing. I really appreciate it.
I recently discovered CALPAK luggage. They have a hard shell suitcase with an outside pocket!!! Love their stuff. Thanks for all the tips!
Thanks so much; I am researching.
I love my Madison Tote! I use it for work all the time! So convenient being able to put the lunchbox in it and still fit my laptop!
I completely love that feature of the tote bag. The quality is outstanding!
Oh wow! Goals! I do not think I could do that either but maybe with laundry.
Hi! My sister and I are traveling this fall to Europe. Our first flight in over 6 years. Your videos have been fantastic in catching us up to current rules and regulations. Last night I sent your video on liquids to my sister and said, “This is the go-to UA-camr I’ve found for airplane travel. Any questions, she’ll have a video on it!” Thank you for taking the time to help us leery travelers. 😊
You are so sweet! And a sisters trip!
Memory board ? ! Cute. I know it SOUNDS like memory, but it's actually EMERY. Emery is the abrasive, on the board. ❤
Yep I think I spelled the correction on the screen.
Rewatching this with my 8yr old son. He heard me watching another video and he asked me to keep playing it because he likes listening you. Lol. We just came back from Houston last night
Yay team! Thank you!
LAURIE! There are hard sided suitcases that have a front pocket. I couldn't remember the brand so I Googled it (hard shell suitcase with front pocket). Samsonite even has one now!
Yes, I should've done more research but sometimes you do not know until you travel with a bag.
This is such a great tip for international travelers especially! Thank you.
That tote bag is perfect! Aullie is so cute🥰
If only it was light pink lol!
I love your videos, thanks! I'd like to see something about a 10-day cruise to UK, following a long flight...saw your one on packing for long flight, was very helpful!
This video may help: bit.ly/OutfitsCruiseShip
Another wonderful video. Thank you Laurie. I have saved your videos to a travel list. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you for watching!
Love your videos as well as the products and tips you recommend! I would love to see a video of recommended vacation locales as well as where you stayed. Both short trips and longer ones. Thank you!
Thanks for that!
Hey, Laurie, just wanted to let you know that some other people have asked down below if you could please put the links for the compression cubes and phone prop in the description.
Thanks!
I have the older version of the Minkeeblue bag and I love it!
Isn't it beautiful?! I love the blue fabric and the space inside is great for packing!
Great content, Laurie. I bought 2 of the hr shoes you recommended. Thank you 😊
I hope they go great for your trips!
Thank you so much. Just ordered the bag. Got a great deal on bundle
It's a beautiful and functional bag!
Ha the struggle is real!
Just got the Tripped National Park compression set - very cute!
I did too; love them!
This is a great video...as always. There are a few items that I am interested in such as the mesh bags and the jewellery organizer.
They're helpful when packing.
I found water proof bag for phones for Pennie’s last summer so I bought several from the DG!
I got married at 30 too, Laurie! My 20's were fun-filled, fabulous, I had a great career, and I Traveled all over the world! Best decision, ever!! 😊
Wonderful! Great minds think alike!
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie 😉💜
Oh I’m so happy for y’all! How wonderful!!! I’d love to do a river cruise. So true about walking so much! What shoes did you tour in?
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie I need good support so I brought Hoka all black shoes and sketcher ankle boots. Hubby had Brooks and adidas. Having extra inserts helped too.
Hi Laurie my name is Angela, my hubby and I are going to Brazil with friends in two weeks. I discovered your videos recently and wanted to thank you for your traveling tips! We don’t fly often and this trip will be the furthest we have ever been!☺️
So fun! I hope your trip is beautiful and just what you want it to be and more!
I ended up buying the under seat tote with the trolley for suitcase. The one you had with the stripes from Amazon.
Oh good. Did it help your flight?
Great video with great item and tips. I really appreciate your videos 💖
Thanks so much!
