      That’s what everyone says that can’t handle the caliber. I carry Glock 30 45 acp and everyone who shoots with me either shoots 9mm or shoots 22 and call my 45 too snappy. I’m honestly surprised how many people carry a 22 caliber. And I’m surprised how many people don’t do their research before talking down calibers.

      Yeah UA-cam is turning off comments to you and Reno and a few other gun tubers with no warning. Scary times. Can’t express yourself nor practice your 2 amendment rights responsible. But I’m seeing a bunch of irresponsible gun tubers shooting houses and the sky and UA-cam thinks that’s cool so they don’t silence them. SMH. Love your shit bro.

    No, the 26 is still one of their big sellers, and for a reason - The reliability and versatility are still almost unmatched, and as you said, that thick slide that everyone likes to pick on, is actually it being a short battle size pistol. Different tools for different jobs. I have a 26/4 and a 26/5, And over the past couple of years I've added a 19/5 and a 27/5. I have really warmed up to the Gen 5. I am a lefty for one, but besides that, I do find them more accurate and they shoot much smoother, and personally, out of a fairly decent number of Glocks that I own (nothing compared to your quantity I'm sure, but more than most people), The Gen 5 triggers are by far the best. I have other pistols as well from other brands, and honestly I don't think the Gen 5 triggers are any worse than some of the others that I have. You should have seen what I had to do to get the trigger right on a shield. Talk about fit and finish issues... But anyway, I still waver between those pistols, and the occasional one with the 43X, but I am rapidly coming back to the 26 and 27. I really like 40, and I have talked to an awful lot of people who still like it, and I have heard several people in gun stores say they think it's probably going to make a comeback. We will see, but anyway God bless, and thank you for the video!

    As far as your S&W Shield, I really dig it! I’m thinking about picking one up, but keeping it mostly stock. Down the road, I may change out the trigger out to one with a flat face. I definitely subscribe to your logic behind owning different caliber firearms. Imo, it is a wonderful choice for such an easily concealable firearm that packs a punch! I rented another gun on Sunday. I thought it was performing well, then I switched it out for a G26 rental and my groups got even tighter. So far I haven't shot any other small gun better. I'm going to try more before I buy one, but so far nothing compares in accuracy.

      I went to a G33 for summer carry. (Same size, but 357 SIG.)
      I think 9mm ammo is cheap but lousy unless you buy the $1+/round stuff.
      Better performance than 9mm +p with 357 SIG and flat nose ammo, everything you need in a round, at 46¢ per round

    @spn firearms. I think I have watched most if not all of your videos and shorts especially on the glock 26. But, I did try something different and acquired a sig p365 xmacro about 9 months ago. After about 3k rounds thru the macro (range & training time)
    and vetting the hell out of it, I’m going back to my gen 5 mos glock 26 w/holosun scs for my EDC. For me, like you say, it just shoots better for me and my hand size and also my mindset. The macro is a good pistol, but call me a glock tard, I don’t care, it’s what works and works well. Plus I’ve been shooting glocks since 1990, so there’s that. keep up the great reviews and appreciate your dedication!

The only other one I have is a GEN five Glock 45. Which also seems to be very very good. And has run flawlessly So far

    I traded my 26.5 after having issues drawing. I can shoot it perfectly but getting it out in a hurry wasn’t happening. I had an extension but that just made it a 19 with a wobbly tip like my 30.
    I finally caved in and went with a 43x and for me it’s perfect. Appendix carry for short people is tricky.

    I have the Holosun SCS on my G19 MOS that screws directly in to the slide, no plate. That's the way to go. Cowitnesses with the sights immediately. Hopefully all optic companies offer something like that. Today I am concealed carrying the G19 with a flannel over my shirt as well. But I love my gen5 G26 for when the weather is warmer and I'm not wearing overshirts. My 26 is not MOS, and Glock still hasn't given the G26 a rail, but to be honest, I carry my G26 as smallest and lightest option. I also pocket carry a powerful little flashlight 🔦 qnd practice the flashlight and handgun techniques. Even though I could get a light for my G19, I haven't felt the need to do so yet. The only upgrade to my 26 is getting iron night sights. Would love to try out the performance trigger but there's also something attractive to me about going basic as much as I can 😂

    If it wasn't for the initial reliability issues, the Canik MC9 would top this in my opinion. Grip is also short (not as short as the 26) but I don't mind because I find it easier to grab during drawing. Plus it's a bit thinner for extra concealability. It doesn't require an adapter plate so you can co witness with factory sights. Trigger is unbeatable. Accepts all canik mags. Ambidextrous as well. And about $200 cheaper than the 26 MOS. 26 is a beast tho!

      Probably better off going with the Gen 5 unless you happen to find a great deal on a gen 3 ,imo the g5 is slightly superior to the g3 but that's just what I think.always go with what feels best for your price point and way more importantly with what feels better in your hand, which should be the main thing anyway atleast to me.

    The 26 is good for mag compatibility but overall I would go with the 19 I’d rather have a little longer grip so no pinky hang and little less room for error grabbing the g19 grip than the 26 grip when drawing from a holster. The g19 is the most popular iconic gun in the world. If shtf can’t go wrong with either. Both are fully capable for nightstand or Edc. I’m just a Glock fanboy don’t mind me!

    Most people going in to buy guns now barely even shoot them and lean far more into how the gun feels in their hand than how it shoots, which makes Glock’s grip angle and short grip seem silly and uncomfortable…
    But then you go shoot it and it shoots almost like a 19, rather than the tiny snappy guns.
    The first time I held a Glock, I almost immediately wrote it off compared to the Walther or Sig or S&W options. Until I shot it… so glad I burned a bunch of time at the range doing “research.”

    Xmacro hands down shoots better then the 26 all day long no comparison thinner and holds way more out the box 🤙🏾 that was tuff for me to say being a glock fanatic

    • @spnfirearms
      @spnfirearms  2 місяці тому +1

      No it doesn’t.. and the x macro has a 3.1” barre AND is compensated giving your terrible expansion with hollow points. Plus the p365, 320 and 322 R plagued with issues. Speak to your gun smiths, rental ranges, gun stores and you will hear. Ask them how often they have a Glock 26 with problems. I rather have reliability then the hype.

    You cannot have a good ccw if it has a safety. Only a decocker makes for a worthy ccw.

    Wow really! The g26 is a dinosaur! Its fat, heavy, only has 10 rounds, crappy sights, and a just ok trigger. There are a ton of better options out there that are just as reliable, better equipped, lighter, with more capacity, and better looking than any glock.

      I have a G47 and G19. I’d personally rather have the G26 for magazine compatibility with my others. Just my two cents

    There absolutely out dated but carry what you like ..if I'm carrying a g26\27 then why not carry a g19\dagger p10c ..just makes not ton of of sense ..but again ppl should carry what they like and feel best about .. Micro 9 to a 4 inch revolver

  • @bryanmiller5074

    I know what you're saying when you say the 26th shoots better than the 19. My Glock 30 shoots better than my Glock 21 and there's a noticeable difference in the size and the length of the barrel and slide. Don't know why it's like that but it's true.

    • @oklahomahank2378
      @oklahomahank2378 Місяць тому

      The barrel stays locked until the bullet is gone. It’s not just you. Many shooters have reported that the Glock 30 is amazingly accurate.
