Your Mother hybrid theory and meteors are two of their best albums minutes to midnight might not be your taste in music and living things is great I like it

Just listen to their newest album and you will feel ashamed how Chester ended his legacy, sad meteora and hybrid theory type albums weren’t their focus
This song has one of the best “screaming bridges” of any Linkin Park song, because it’s blended very well. It has a harder base chorus and Chester screaming is used as punctuation and I think the two play off each other in rhythm incredibly well. It helps that it’s not just straight voice-breaking angry death metal screams, there’s more emotion and variation to it, unlike Faint and One Step Closer.
I think you hit the nail on the head with the bridge. I can't think of any of LP "breakdown" that makes me genuinely feel the energy and emotion, while also making me just want to toss people around like a ragdoll.

Chester's voice! GOD DAMNIT!!!! Will there ever be anyone else with such a powerful and unique voice????? Most LP songs feel as if they are one part. The guitar doesn't sound out of place, the rapping doesn't feel out of place, the beats don't feel out of place, Chester's aggression is perfect, Hahn's skills are phenomenal!!! Why can't I get a complete feel in any other artist's/band's songs??? I'm almost always left feeling as if there was something missing whenever I listen to other artists' songs.
May I recommend Breaking Benjamin. Songs like simple design, polyamorous and Failure. it is different from Linkin Park, but it is whole as a band like Linkin Park.
Just like with "don't stay" and other songs, this lyrics are so harsh. Maybe it's because I'm dealing with a breakup, but they are damn so meaningful. Instead of talking out problems, you just get consumed by them ('instead of setting it free I took what I hated and made it a part of me'). I believed every word you said to me, and stopped being the one you fall in love with ('giving up a part of me, I've let myself become lost inside these thoughts of you'). Wow...Amazing!!!

Chester understood lyrics in one deep way, he understood the life of an empath, he felt and sang all of his shortcomings, perceptions, and experiences, but what made me understand him so well was not man vs man, man vs nature or man vs himself, it was man versus everything, with nothing to back him up but his own worst enemy, himself.

I am thirty now. I discovered LP in my mid teens. I have since graduated college, married with a kid, and I still get same goosebumps on LP. Imagine today's teens discovering LP; they'll be in for quite a ride.

Nothing ever stops all these thoughts
And the pain attached to them
Sometimes I wonder why this is happening
It's like nothing I can do would distract me when
I think of how I shot myself in the back again
'Cause from the infinite words I could say
I put all the pain you gave to me on display
But didn't realize, instead of setting it free
I took what I hated and made it a part of me
It never goes away, it never goes away
And now
You've become a part of me
You'll always be right here
You've become a part of me
You'll always be my fear
I can't separate
Myself from what I've done
Given up a part of me
I've let myself become you
Hearing the name, the memories come back again
I remember when it started happening
I'd see you in every thought I had and then
The thoughts slowly found words attached to them
And I knew as they escaped away
I was committing myself to whom
And every day I regret saying those things
'Cause now I see that I
Took what I hated and made it a part of me
It never goes away, it never goes away
And now
You've become a part of me
You'll always be right here
You've become a part of me
You'll always be my fear
I can't separate
Myself from what I've done
Given up a part of me
I've let myself become you
It never goes away, it never goes away
It never goes away, it never goes away
Get away from me
Gimme my space back, you gotta just go
Everything comes down to memories of you
I've kept it in but now I'm letting you know
I watch you go, so
Get away from me
Gimme my space back, you gotta just go
Everything comes down to memories of you
I've kept it in but now I'm letting you know
I let you go
And now
You've become a part of me
You'll always be right here
You've become a part of me
You'll always be my fear
I can't separate
Myself from what I've done
Given up a part of me
I've let myself become you
I've let myself become you
I've let myself become
Lost inside these thoughts of you
Giving up a part of me
I've let myself become you
What I've done and Given up in the second chorus
