Hi guys. Yes, the thing on the person’s arm that looks like it’s from a horror movie is a worm. A “Proboscis Worm,” to be exact. It’s an ocean worm that uses that white root-like structure, its proboscis, as a net to trap prey. In this case, it probably sees the human as a predator, and is trying to deter them so it can escape.
The girl that got woken up with the horn sound was back home from basic military training, and if I recall correctly it was her dad or brother that played the prank
Yay video! Best way to brighten up the day. Also, I googled. It's a ribbon worm. Spits out it's proboscis when it feels threatened and stabs the prey with toxins. Well hopefully the person with the worm is ok.
Awesome...would love a Part 2...as for the 2nd video....that is why you never say the 'Q' word....ask ANY Emergency Responder...lol. Love you two, from Olympia, WA.
I loved this video I was absolutely dying with laughter watching this your reactions are just the best appreciate you both so much literally my favourite couple in the world happy new year x
@Hailee and Kendra Depending on whether it was a male or female, a sea lion can weigh up to 300kg (male) or 220kg (female). If it was a Stellar Sea lion, which is the largest, it can weigh up to 1000kg.
13:00 - it's a type of ribbon worm. I think it was actually in distress because a scientist that studies ribbon worms and witnessed similar behaviour said the worm was expelling its proboscis (the branching bit) in an effort to leave something behind for what it perceives as a predator so it can escape.
As far as I know, it might be hoax tho, cats are bringing gifts to their owner, if they really like them. Like you are feeding the cat and the cat wants to feed you.
The weird white branched thing is a ribbon worm. Lots of videos of them. Apparently that particular variety is harmless and commonly kept as pets, but there are others that can grow over 100 feet long.
Hey hailee and Kendra, thank you so much for bringing so much happiness to my life, I’ve been going through a lot and I recently just came out as bi, you’re videos have shown me that it’s okay to come out and embrace who I’am, thank you guys again so much for the happiness you bring
Yes! More hijinks with the lovely and hilarious couple Hailee and Kendra! Top tier reaction content, you two are so incredibly funny! That was a ribbon worm, Nemertea, it shot out it's proboscis out over that arm. The cat bringing mice are trying to give gifts and show their prowess in it's ways, but they're intelligent and will stop doing it if you react clearly enough. They won't stop due to instincts, but they'll "store" them elsewhere. A neighbor had this issue, but after 3 attempts while being met with shouting and sent out, the cat got the hint. When the owner moved their upside down boat in the open garage, they saw the cat's storage place. There was 20+ mice and other prey layed out in lines seemingly according to size and type, so the cat had some organizational skills too. Please do more like this, perhaps reacting to gaming senior citizens too? Thank you both Hailee and Kendra for all the fun in 2023, you two are absolutely amazing people, wish you both all the best in the new year 2024!
Hey❤ Maybe the Guy talking about wild animal facts are Casual Geografic, alsp formerly known as Hood Nature. I also think he has covered that worm thing, but I don't remember what it is😅
Yeah, we have 4 cats. Karen, Marble, Bagram, and the only male, Felix. Marble brought a live mouse in the house over the summer. Felix brought in a dead rat and a dead mole. Karen brought in a flying squirl, dead, of course. CC said, hello and "Happy New Year." I'm having trouble with my daughter. She has really low self esteem. I'm not sure if her being gay has anything to do with it or not. She stopped coming to me for our talks. Any advice I'd be really appreciative. Anyway, I know you are busy. Take care. Love you both.
Having low self esteem is something a lot of humans experience, no matter their gender or sexuality. The only advice we can offer, is to give her the chance to see a therapist. We all wish to help the ones we love through their struggles, but sometimes offering professional help it’s the best thing to do 😊 Happy New Year!
@HaileeandKendra well I sure thank you ladies. Yeah. I found her a therapist that she's comfortable with. I don't know if she has opened up to her yet but the way she talks about her , I'm sure she will eventually. Thanks again . I really enjoy your content. I have fallen out of my chair laughing at you two. Take care of each other. Hell, I already know you do that.
The worm didn't attach itself. Depending on the species (it's a roundworm of some sort I think) that's likely either it's intestinal track or it's genitalia. Some species of moth do something similar during certain points in their life cycle. Disgusting but I think it's harmless.
PS: You're correct about the bear but I should add this: The wolf won't climb, the tiger will, The bear (brown bear I think) would have a choice-- climb the tree or knock it down.
Hi! first off, love you guys-- you're incredible, beautiful human beings and I love your content and your energy! Second off, the crazy double jointed clip with the, I think it was a pizza box? I could be wrong, who knows, but id put money on it-- the person likely has a condition called hypermobility. more specifically Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type III: Hypermobility. Its a connective tissue disorder that's the result of a genetic mutation. Its rare, but a great many contortionists have it, if that helps? Used to be one myself and also among those of us that have it 🤷♀ what the person did is a variant of a common stage trick used in performances in the build up to the more complex human pretzel-ing. 👍
These ribbon worms contained toxins with extremely strong paralytic activity. The maximum toxicity in terms of tetrodotoxin (TTX) was 25,590 mouse units (MU) per gram for the whole worm throughout the monitoring period. The main toxic component was isolated and recrystallized from an acidified methanolic solution.
When I was a teenager (many years ago), my 1st job was at an Arby's restaurant. We were told we were to bring in our own drinking vessels so we didn't wipe out the stock of cups. I brought in a 7-up glass, which was shaped upside-down as part of their ongoing promotion of being different than the norm (the "Un-cola"). I went to put root beer in it to drink and the bottom just dropped off. Apparently the glass only would let 7-up rest inside. Anything else was an invader!!
Hey! So that big red wrom you saw is a Ribbon worm and the white thing that shoots out of the worm is its proboscis, the appendage it uses to eat. Seriously, that growing rootlike structure that's vomited out is designed to drag food inside. Crab, fish, snails, other worms - anything will do (depending on the type and size of the ribbon worm we are talking about)
Just bingeing your vids and with the mouse situation, 2:39 we had mice attracted to our cat's food, we put it in plastic containers after we found a mouse dead in the bag, soo food for thought if that is a similar situation for ya hahaha haven't had any since🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
1:21 ER worker would probably say quite high, apparently it's an extremely common superstition in emergency fields because so many works have experienced someone saying it's quite and then suddenly having the rest of the day be insane
If you keep encountering cracked glassware, my bet is you're thermally shocking it by accident. You'd be surprised how small the change in temperature needs to be, provided it's rapid, to cause glass to weaken or outright crack. Trymto let your glassware reach ambient temperature before putting cold soft drinks or hot beverages in them. Alternatively, watch out for banging them about in sinks - wineglass stems can snap undr the grip of your hand if you're not careful.
Hi, Girls. There are no known real-world worms that have a network of vessels for a tongue and can shoot them out to attach to humans. However, there is a real-world worm that might be inspiring this creepy critter: The Nemertea, also known as ribbon worms or proboscis worms. However, the idea of a worm with a grappling tongue is certainly interesting!
I'm not sure how long ago it was now, but I was outside my friends house, and I had dropped something, and I was right next to their front lawn. I went to go pick up what I though was what I dropped, but then I was like "Why is this squishy?" It was a dead mouse.... 😐🥴💀
Hi, Girls. If you say this word to your cats they will come to you. MAH-AH. As a person said he could speak cat. Told somebody and she made a short video on UA-cam to show it works. Wow.
would you ever do reactions to other youtubers content for example, comedy sketches maybe challenge videos, i dont really know i haven't really thought through this comment. i love the videos ya'll are so quirky and funny and your videos always make me smile :)
I’ve had the same thing happen with a Sonic slushie btw but it was straight out of the person who brings you your food. They literally handed me a leaking cup lol. The bottom was cracked. I got a second cup and they refunded my meal.
That looked like a variety of ribbon or proboscis worm, and the white appendage was its tongue, which it spreads out like that to catch food. While such worms can potentially contain (and use) venoms, such as tretrodotoxin, it should be safe for the person handling it, unless they lick their hand afterwards, or have open wounds.
Kendra wolves can jump at an ungodly height be warned if you pick the wolf and climb the tree and Wolves and stick there claws into trees so pick I good height for the tree you climb
Drink was a monitor. Glass was probably cracked by a bartender while mashing mint. Also, bartenders hate making monitors, and they sometimes get aggressive about it.
I believe that is a ribbon worm .. the tree like appendage coming out of it's face is a proboscis and is used to grab food to bring towards the mouth .. similar in principle to a chameleon's sticky tongue .. Not sure where you are getting that it looks like a Dalek though .. I thought they looked more like octopi .. also .. Sea Lions weigh on average about 600ish pounds ..
Hi, Girls. Cats bring there owners mice and other small animals. To show you they love you and they are doing there job properly in there trtibe. As you are part of the cats tribe. Stay safe to you Girls and your cats. 🧡😻
12:05 - I don't recall what that is, but I vaguely recall seeing a video with that or something similar in it. Probably on Casual Geographic's channel.
Heres a little question ...Do the lights flicker and you lose a ton of lightbulbs all the time? If so one of you is making it happen energetically. Stress can drive that up!
I have one cat because she is an absolute psycho and doesn't like other animals, but she is a mouser! She loves to play with them by throwing them up into the air. I looked it up, and apparently cats do the "play" stuff to disorient the mice. It freaks me out! I'm not a mouse person!!
hey hailiee, love your eye makeup in this video. brings out your eyes nicely. btw all llamas are jerks. (they spit on everyone) and "horn in your ear" is grounds for divorce.
There are some animals out there you really don't want to cross. Seriously, mice, rats, pretty much any critter your pet can put into its mouth isn't going to hurt you. Gross maybe, yeah. But ya'll are like 200 times bigger than they are, the only thought they are having is 'how the hell do I get out get out of here...'
The worm was my least favorite, too...what the hell is that thing??? But not gonna lie, I think the buffalo one was my favorite, that tongue thing was hysterical.
probably already been said or you guys already know, but when a cat brings you things like that (dead mice and such) they are saying that they love you and accept you as their mummies
“I hope the deer is ok.” Did y’all see the little kid in Blue by the window get absolutely wrecked? No one ever does lol. His chair gets wiped out and goes right into the window sill/wall.
love your video's you 2 are amazing and funny and about the worm is it me or did that worm looked like the animal that created the first titan from attack on titan
that thing were a sea cucumber who spit out its intestines to hunt, but didn't got anything, because it were on that persons arm xD Don't know if it's dangerous, like poisonous or toxic, or anything like that xD
The glass breaking happens more then you think being a bartender for 20 years had alot of wine or beer bottles that had a small chip or crack in it just break. One time one broke in my hand and got 13 stitches because of it
The drink one happens when the glass gets old basically. Its the constant use and dishwashing being done in a restaurant. Also, going from hot to cold quickly, which happens on busy nights when you grab glasses just out of the dishwasher to get a drink for your table, weakens them as well. My job now I've found a couple in the dish rack so luckily they never made it to a table.
This. Had that exact thing happen to a friend with his glass of cola. Dropped right over his book that he had been reading while we waited for our meals.
The worm things is called a ribbon worm that stuff it spat out was it’s guts it basically spits that out and then digests its prey from the outside of its body it’s really fascinating. Anyway thanks for another amusing and fun video keep up the great content
Idk if it’s been answered but if I remember correctly it’s harmless could be wrong but that was a type of worm that shoots out its stomach to catch prey.
Hailee: eating is the key. Kendra: I burnt the shit out of my mouth on some pizza on New Years Eve/Day. Hailey: that's not the type of eating I'm talking about but carry on.
I've seen that sealion video a bunch of times and everyone thinks the trainer is dumb, but dollars to donuts I bet she was trying to prevent it from being hurt by an eight foot drop onto concrete.
Showing my age, but when Kendra told her slushy story and said, “This one time,” my mind immediately went, “At band camp”

It's a ribbon worm, Lindsay Nikole covered it in her "WTF is that" series (worm edition)
My ex wife woke me up once and I said I'd be right their when I finished feeding and letting out the ostriches 😂😂😂
That’s clearly a very important task!
Yay video! Best way to brighten up the day.
Also, I googled. It's a ribbon worm. Spits out it's proboscis when it feels threatened and stabs the prey with toxins. Well hopefully the person with the worm is ok.
It's thankfully not a strong enough poison for humans if I remember right the most it does is mild irritation to us
This was so much fun and giggly...I'm sure every viewer here would appreciate a second installment!
Awesome...would love a Part 2...as for the 2nd video....that is why you never say the 'Q' word....ask ANY Emergency Responder...lol. Love you two, from Olympia, WA.

OMG, Hailee should totally watch David Cronenberg's "Crash" (1996) - it's about car crashes... but also - isn't.
The guy you were talking about that makes videos about animals I think you were talking about coyote Peterson

That pink thing is a flat worm and it's defense mechanism is to eject its intestines from the body. The predator would usually freak out and drop it.

Kendra's face when Hailee said "That's not the kinda eating I was talking about" lmao
I've also seen a whole bunch of doctor who. I talk a bit more nuts bc of that show. So everything is timey whimy.
OMG, you do realize that your cat was bringing the baby mouse back to you 😂😂😂
My cat, Penny, killed a mouse and then hid it under a pile of all her toys. My brother found it when he was walking by.
Idk if it’s been answered but if I remember correctly it’s harmless could be wrong but that was a type of worm that shoots out its stomach to catch prey.
Its a proboscis worm. When it senses prey it explodes its nose and catches it.
Thanks guys, and that worm thingy freaked me the fuck out, just saying lol
The car crash one, they were filming a podcast. I can’t remember the story behind it but I do remember it was for a podcast
Once I was staying at motel for work I woke up during the night to see mouse on second bed pillow chewing on a cake of soap (weird)
The way Hailee went from British to a cowgirl all in one 🤣😂🤣 and the way she went not the kind of eating I was talking about 10:35
Hailee: eating is the key.
Hailee maybe they've been replaced by a pair of Zygons & they're talking in code in preparation to replace you too
13:00 ribbon worm, not dangerous to humans but if I remember correctly that is how they eat. They can’t eat a person but yeah
