I tried a Yellow Peel/Chemical Peel for my skin

- Hi guys, I tried the Yellow Peel at @blanco_aesthetics and it is basically a mix of actives like Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phytic Acid, Vit A, Kojic Acid, etc,
The peel is kept on for 4 to 8 hours, we did 4 hours for first session, 6 hours for second and so on. I noticed a little purging after the 2nd session, it is normal for the skin to purge after the peel. The dead skin starts peeling 2 days after and the peeling happens in parts and can go on for 2-3 days.
For 7 days, you need to skip all your actives and only use a gentle cleanser, lot of moisturiser and sunscreen as the skin would stretch and hurt if dry, especially around the mouth.
The doc would recommend 3 to 6 sessions as per the skin’s requirement but I saw a major difference after one session itself. I would highly recommend this a week before any special occasion and if you are a bride to be, I recommend 3 sessions at least. Every session needs a gap of 20-30 days.
But overall, my stubborn PIH finally faded and my skin looks much more even toned, hydrated and glowing. Zero filter or makeup here, as always when it comes to skincare.

Whenever I have peels done, dermatologists stressed to me to not peel the dead skin off with my fingers; let it peel naturally because scarring, and hyperpigmentation, may occur.
Yes I didn't pick on the skin or peel from the start, I just took off the extra hanging skin which was already peeling

I have seen you picking your skin after the peel, you are removing the dead skin with your hand, many tell it would lead to further scarring and pigmentation, but your skin looks glossier and healthy, how come?
are we not supposed to pick the peel skin , I mean the dead skin? please reply to me I am planning to get a chemical peel very soon
although she moisturised it generally after peeling it herself i recommend you to not do the same, dont peel them yourself, she is lucky she didn’t get any scars
Unless it's already peeling, don't pick your skin and peel. If the skin is hanging, you can very gently just take it off

I am not sure if my peeling is different but every session my dermat reminds me again and again to not peel it or pluck the hanging or peeling skin. If in case I find a need to, he asked to just cut it off as close as possible but to be careful and not cut myself :P He warned me about having mild to serious scarring which might need another procedure or topical product application.
So I don't peel it purposely, but if the peeling happens I slightly remove it and it comes out in parts and moisturize generously. My peeling happens in small bits so didn't have to cut. I did not face any scarring thankfully
That’s the same thing I just commented, and I have been getting peels for decades.
@@stephaniebloodsaw7928 I understand, but for me I had to step out and I can't go out with hanging skin on my face, I am anyway super gentle with my skin and very careful and know when to stop and not go further. Since it came out in small parts, I didn't face any issue

Read the comments, I have already explained. I did not, I just gently peeled in parts the skin which was already out. And I had a method to do it, YOU SHOULD NOT.

Yes, I only removed the extra part gently coz I had to step out. I wouldn't recommend pulling or being harsh, I don't use any pressure

Guess u r nt suppose to remove the scabbing ur face the way u doing in this video
Peel you mean? You can till you are gentle and it's not hurting or burning, coz you cannot leave it hanging if and when you step out. Also washing the face will remove some, constantly moisturizing will soothe and pill some dead skin. I have asked the dermat
