Finally a good product. The only thing its missing massively imo is ventilated/cooled front seats. Its a must have for indian cars. ADAS is anyways a cosmetic feature for indian roads. Its rather annoying sometimes. So no use for good responsible drivers. I can live without an ADAS. But it should have had ventilated/cooled seats.
Costs a lot. It's a premium luxurious car, almost got everything 7 seater, 20 inch alloys, panaromic Sunroof, 210 ground clearance, features loaded under the hood.

Mahindra 2.2 diesel has life of 1 to 1.5 lakh only after which it requires overhaul please search this on UA-cam
Tata vale use plastic bearing in gearbox which break down often, then engine misfire, oil cooler failing etc are main issues
This xtrail was sold in USA last year 260000 units with same engine and CVT
In US market it is 28 k $ to 38 $ with Adas , Lane assist and other features
I was a fan of Nissan Evalia. It was a perfect family car for long drives.
Unfortunately before I could go for it, it was discontinued. I still wish Nissan reintroducedt Evalia in india.

I am driving xuv700 since 2 yrs months.... recently did my north and Central india road trip (20k km in 4 months) covering himachal, Ladakh, UK etc..... and 700 performed very well... no problem at all anywhere.... but inhavent driven any Nissan vehicle yet so I can't compare but looking at this video, I can say few things (1) features are much more in 700 (2) performance seems better for 700 on paper (power and torque) (3) service network of 700 will have more advantage.
I'm a doctor and three of my colleagues purchased mahindra cars including XUV 700 last year.. Believe me, they all are repenting on their decision because cars are full of problems which take months to solve by mahindra technicians and you feel cheated
