Wondeful to see Sowell's Vision of the anointed being called out (the full title itself is so provocative the first time you see it - see below). Hope this reaches more of this tech audience of this channel and Marc's fans. I'd like to say, just as we have BC/CE, there is your life before and after knowing Sowell - it is life changing as it will alter the lens of how you view politics, economics, intellectuals, race, social policy, role of gov, etc. if you haven't read Sowell before, do buy these without any hesitation - Vision of the anointed - Self congratulation as a basis for social policy. - Black rednecks and white liberals - Basic economics - Discrimination and disparities. - Conflict of visions. - intellectuals and society
Can I just say that your guys intellect in conjunction with your Indian Accent make for a compelling listen. Its like listen to a new song for the first time and its great. I'm sure the Algorithm Gods will bless this channel.
Keep up the amazing work both of you. There is no way this channel is not going to blow up. There is something special here and the 15k subs does not reflect that today…. It’s just a matter of time
Great podcast you two! I would really recommend doing this in a soundproof room though, as your voices are echoing pretty jarringly if I may add. If you can't move in to a studio, then at least get some acoustic panels to absorb the sounds that are bouncing all over the walls. Trust me, it will improve your production quality a lot better. As it's a bit harsh atm. Wish you all the best. I hail from Chennai as well :)

Have Garry Tan come over and do your camera and lighting....given what people think of your jobs and company, production values should be better - even if DIY
Interesting discussion. Only one remark: Communism and fascism are concepts about the organization of industrial society. I don't think they should be applied to a pre-industrial society like the ancient greek.
Marc is the bomb, can't get enough of his wisdom. But the sycophantic nature of these interviews really makes one pause and get turned off really quickly.
It's really pity that such fantastic guest took party in such poorly conveyed interview. The hosts were interrupting him, doing some inside jokes which I wasn't able to follow, very strong accent made really difficult to pleasantly listen and the lady host spend most her air time of the time giggling. Also sound quality in the studio was quite bad, heard like they were in fish tank. Had to stop after 30 minutes, because it was too taxing.
Creativity is some sort of computation, some kind of formula? Just throw in some extroversion, openness, blah, blah, blah? Many people are creative in a narrow field, and are not reading books in unfamiliar genres (as Marc suggests). So sad, and that's why we don't solve any basic problems. If you think at the speed that Marc talks, you have a sad, limited life. Best you can hope for is incremental development. The guy is in an echo chamber and he doesn't know it.
Everyone needs more than their salary to be financiaIIy stable. The best thing to do with your money is to lnvest it rightly so it grows because money left for savings always end up used with no returns...
Thanks everyone for this podcast... Marc is a genius of our era...he is one of the flag bearers of our civilization.
he is the greatest grifter of our generation for sure. a furu basically... didnt make one company which was profitable.
@@nonefvnfvnjnjnjevjenjvonej3384 LOL "grifter." simply moronic.
How is this podcast not more famous?
Best topics best people. Thanks for making yourself available Marc

Cant agree more, People may have differences in their ideologies but reading Thomas Sowell should be made mandatory in college.

Please make a video on you Sriram sir, we want to know about your life and get motivated 🇮🇳
Will do!
Holy crap. His understanding of contrarians is dead on. I feel shook lol
Wish Sriram hadn't rejoined Twitter, though wish him all the best with it. Great episode as always.
Not rejoining Twitter! 🙂 - Sriram
@@AarthiAndSriram Apologies, I stand corrected. Not about the episode being great, though. 🙂
Marc is pure signal. Thanks for sharing this.
I just love how articulate Aarthi is :)
Thank you very much!
Another great episode. Great job Aarthi and Sriram!
Thank you!!
Puttying Elon on the title and not in the timestamps?
+1 clickbait 101
Scam
It’s the “tough times and chewing glass” section
@@pweidinger haha, people who have listened to Elon for a while will recognize the chewing glass phrase
Sriram's Good Time Show feature Aarthi and a guest
Wonderful episode though, fun to watch all of you let lose and just jam.
Thank you
Great episode. Very information dense. Marc seems more in his element here, compared to other interviews I've seen.

Great talk. Point on having a spectrum on THE OCEAN concept really opened my mind to many possibilities for more growths and learning.
The last one hour was my favourite part... but great episode. Keep it up and thanks so much, guys... 💪🏾🙏🏾
andreessen is a legend
I had my legs blown off while building by startup, hands too blown off, but I persevered finally after my head blew off too. It was amazing.
Life Lessons, Life Goals!!!
1:18:40 awesome explanation of actual problems while doing rapid iteration! sriram (y)
The only time I change the speed to 0.5X is when I watch Mark's talk.

marc is awesome!
Lovely life lessons, especially the one about Managers in status quo companies. Definitely makes me thinking about my life
Super insightful video.. thanks a ton for creating this!
Enlightening.
Great interview. Thank you for it. Very insightful.
Lol. Marc seemed to enjoy being on the show.
We hope so!
And now he is back at twitter 😉
Nice episode. Expecting more.
How do think creativity?
Anyone know the timestamp where he talks about Elon Musk?

amazing , thank u
This episode is inspired 😍
wonderful talk! thanks a lot
Hi, can I ask, why are Aarthi and Sriram able to get such high level CEOs? Out of curiosity.
Because we are old and have known all these amazing people “growing up” in Silicon Valley haha
Also Arthur is my Starbucks name how did you know?

Ah I actually typed it correctly, it must have autocorrected, thanks for the response!
All good, autocorrect gods are never reliable. Thank you for listening/watching our show!
That moment when Sriram realizes he’s actually in Marc‘s cult 😂 This was an awesome interview. Canonical Marc Andreessen
Hahah true!

Great episode, but to be honest I struggle with understanding the accent at times.
I don't know how he can come back on media after his duplicity on real estate zoning. he was always good at story telling.
Interesting discussion. Only one remark: Communism and fascism are concepts about the organization of industrial society. I don't think they should be applied to a pre-industrial society like the ancient greek.
Unfortunately, interviewers often interrupt the guest and make unfunny jokes....otherwise, its good.
Still using the old airpods
is he from Power Ranger series?

Never heard of this channel. Doesn’t have 9k subscribers but has Marc Andreeson? His uncle friends godfather or something
Thanks? We used to be on Clubhouse for 2 years and did audio only content, and recently started a UA-cam channel. Welcome!
It's not about size but rate of growth! ;-)
Great interview. By the way, as Marc always says, I cringe a bit about the sycophantic interviewers
Marc is the bomb, can't get enough of his wisdom. But the sycophantic nature of these interviews really makes one pause and get turned off really quickly.
I think they were trying to be polite and not interrupt, Marc did a lot of talking
We just can’t win. We get yelled at whether we interrupt or don’t interrupt.
@@AarthiAndSriram Point well taken. Mea culpa.

Why does your audio sound so awful? You've got mics right in front of your faces. It sounds like the audio is coming from the camera mic?!
Will try to fix!
