Great video! Also I found a higher level place where if you're like me (level 57) you can do this for the same woodcutting xp plus a chance for level relevant gear, a lot more weapon xp and it's less clustered with vegetation, it's a great place, Wolves all over, beautiful spot in Edengrove right up north of a place called Hydnora, north-east of the Valor Hold Outpost, it's full of herb nodes too, hopefully this helps higher levels, the zone is 57+, good luck!

It also comes without the benefit of actually getting useful crafting mats. The ones you get there aren't used to level crafting profession anyways, because for some reason the T2 Materials give the best return per resource spent, all the way to max level. Might aswell keep chopping away in the starter zones, sadly...

Interesting how less people are interested in Wyrmwood and potion materials but more interested in exp instead. Quite a learning experience. To go from 160-200 logging chopping young trees took 16 hours. This is definitely the way to go for pure exp.
Honestly I do jewel crafting and the quiessence is what I need the most. I farm these and the bears.

Best way to get from 50 to 100 logging is Monarchs Bluff. Nearly every tree outside the main city is a mature tree. So it's literally just turn and chop. I did this just 2-3 days ago and because the game has been out for over a week now, most of the lower level horde has moved on from Monarchs Bluff by now. My buddy and I had a competition of who could get to 200 logging first and I was 30 levels behind him. Farming at Monarchs Bluff and using the method mentioned in the video, allowed me to catch and pass my friend in logging. To add to the video though. If you just do circles around the outside shores main Wyrdwood tree island, there are 4-5 wolves that will infinite respawn in the time it takes you to walk around the lake.
Are they the same wolves so level logging?
@@GothamHunter yes. it is the same place he mentions in the video. Just easier to do circles around the lake than run through the mobs in that area

higher player level increases odds for rare crafting materials from gathering skills, don't gather at level 30.
IMO logging is the easiest and most boring job to leveling BUT you don't focus on them anyway. as a crafter you aim for other thing and most way to level those trade craft is craft cheap+low level item which almost all of them include green wood.
and if you don't have the whole guild pay for your green wood you have to farm them and trust me when your trade craft hit 150 your wood cutting is already 200.

This guide is very great for mid-logging game. But ever considered you need 100 logging for these wolves? Your guide doesnt help those who are 0-100, unfortunately. But i subscribed anyway

Why so negative about logging 1-100 and in general? A lot of people think its one of the biggest perk of the game

if you plan on doing any crafting skills that might require wood i would completely skip this. i'm max logging from literally getting 125 furnishing and 150 engineering and its not stopping there. i wish they just had unlimited gathering levels just to see the exp some ppl will have cuz if u cut your own wood for any crafting skills that need it to 200 you will easily have like lvl 500 logging lol, probably more. dont rush logging if you plan on really playing long-term and craft. you will feel like an idiot for rushing 200 then going back and cutting young trees for 50k charcoal.
Unfortunately from what I can tell, this definitely seems to be the case. Wyrmwood/starmetal etc just seems to be extra burden as converting it is locked behind the need for massive earlier resources, especially refining mats.
BTW, I am furnishing as well. Do you know how to get the recipes for the second tier of trophies? I'm only 100, but they don't appear in my "unlearned" tab.
@@bizzigieboysbreaks I haven't figured out that out either. I'm 126 now so I can reply again if I can ever get to 150 and see what it says. I really have no idea, I might ask a person on my server with an insane house at 160k house points atm. No idea where to find this info.
@@crypto3395 thanks.. if I had to bet I would say they don't appear as an option unless you have the requisite "artifact" item. Similar to how you can't even see the loot luck trophy unless you have a rabbits foot.

@@crypto3395 I have an "Ectoplasmic Essence" which is used to upgrade a Lost Bane trophy and indeed the second tier of Lost Bane trophy now appears in my unlearned tab.
You guys just need to lvl to 60 and stop messing around with this stuff until then
