Monthly Grocery Shopping At Costco As A Naturopathic Doctor And Healthy Foods To Buy

- My monthly grocery run at Costco as an naturopathic doctor was a success. The organic pumpkin seeds are a great source of protein, healthy fat, and fiber. A whole bag of organic Brazil nuts caught my eye too; they're only $10 and provide a fantastic boost of selenium that's good for the thyroid.
I also picked up some grass-fed beef jerky as a high-protein snack - it was on sale for just $12, which is an amazing deal. A whole bag of organic blueberries rounded out my shopping trip; they're only $7 and are great for supporting brain health and eye health.
In addition to these staples, I grabbed some organic cauliflower rice as a low-carb alternative to traditional rice. It's also just $7.
I'm excited about the new batch of organic almond butter that I'll be adding to my smoothies; it pairs perfectly with sliced apples for a healthy snack.
My shopping cart wouldn't have been complete without some organic extra virgin olive oil, which comes in dark glass packaging and avoids plastic. Plus, this particular brand uses avocado oil instead of seed oils.
I also picked up some Chosen food Mayo made with avocado oil; it's perfect for making salad dressing or adding to sandwiches.
Last but not least, I grabbed some wild-caught sardines as a healthy and quick meal option. They're amazing paired with the chosen food mayo and a squeeze of lemon juice. And at just $8 per bag, organic olives are another great find for me; they provide a fantastic source of monounsaturated fats that I love adding to my salads.

That olive oil is from a lot of diff countries. I almost bought it but i changed my mind when i saw that. Always get single origin olive oil!
Aldi has a good one from Spain
@@JB-ux7ql
They also have a single origin olive oil from spain and also one from italy at costco. I think they both are good ones. Im gonna try that one from aldi too, thx
@@tarek198608 yeah, always opt for single origin in glass containers which they’ve not had at any of my local costcos for a while.
Thanks young man, this is one of the best videos I have seen on very healthy productos.
Thanks for sharing these great products. I had no idea that Brazil nuts were good for the thyroid. I will for sure give that a try 😊
Just don't eat more than 7 at a time or you'll hit the upper limit for selenium
It is better that the olive oil is from one country and not from multiple countries.
I buy just about all these items! Thank you!
Great stuff. Love the sardines a couple times per week for breakfast. Just have to eat them outside
A legend true legend of the groceries! Thank you for sharing definitely picking up a few of those items! 💪🏼
Go with the wild blueberries instead of organic they have more antioxidants and are tested for heavy sprays
Costco is great but the one important thing they don't have in my area is any type of fresh grass-fed beef. They used to have a two pack of the vacuum packed grass-fed ribeyes, but I haven't seen them in months.
Bought everything 3 weeks ago that you picked up today except for the cauliflower and habanero jerky. I can't do those 2. How cool--our grocery lists almost match!!
Great information
Thanks for the tip! ♥️☺️
Those blueberries are hella good!
Beef jerky? How did that get on your healthy list?
Organic nuts...wow what a revelation...who would have known....😂
What’s with the beef jerky ??
Need to put those nuts in the fridge. Mine spoiled quickly. Keeps better.
The only thing I find at my local Costco is the berries and cauliflower. The rest is non existent at these Costcos
The wild planet sardines are better with the skin, bones and extra virgin olive oil
👌🏽🙌🏽
Are you in Canada?
Which Costco did you find riced cauliflower? Mine does not have it at last look… I’m in Columbus Ohio.
Almonds are great without their lectin skins
Hey Doctor is that Almond Butter have real Almond in it? Cause Almond Milk does not have any Almond in it? I love their Almond Tortillas. Hey I bought those same Bag of Sunflower Seeds at Costco. Hey you know what I found at Costco? Powdered cacao. I add it to my coffee It tastes a little bitter. Yet it's healthy for you and I found bag of dried goji berries. You could put them in salads. Added them to my smoothie so good. Get some Gojo berries put it in your salad their dried.
❤❤❤❤❤
You buy grass fed beef jerky when there are super cheap grass fed burgers that are 100% grass fed? Also no eggs, milk, or anything like that?
We don’t have that olive oil or a few of those other things at our Costco. I looked for cauli-rice this last time I went and there wasn’t even a spot for it anymore. 😢
😊
Is the chosen mayo good?
It taste like racid eggs . The taste and smell is VERY off
Watch out for all the Chinese grown seeds. Wouldn’t trust any of it. Buy from local FDA farmers instead. Worth the extra couple dollars .
Yes as I found out the one from Go pumpkin seeds are from China.
what's callieflower?
Those pumpkin seeds are crossed contaminated 😢
With what? Can you explain?
Their statement is pointless because of you have an allergy you should be reading labels for yourself lol@@prints8
What about red meat?
Puedes poner precios por favor
don't have a Costco near me😢
Where have you been all my life?
Anyone else know another name for Brazil nuts 🗿
Yeah, Deez
Groceries arw expensive in tje states
Everything we do to eat healthy is actually not expensive. Consider that when we get sick from poor nutrition, it is more expensive. For example: doctors, hospitals. medicines, deterioration of health, suffering etc.
I hear organic is a better choice for you but why? What does organic mean?
No pesticides, pesticides mess with your endocrine system and hormones
All organic means, is it's real food with no preservatives or chemicals. It's how we should be eating food and how we USED to eat food from back in the day before FDA got involved
There’s enough videos like this.
The sardines I KNOW there healthy but noopp i prefer tuna
Only 8 bucks, 7 bucks 😢

Pumpkin seeds are from CHINA
As a nonsense doctor ? You are not a doctor!
Youre not a real doctor
Really? I consider naturopathic doctors even more of a doctor since they are all about prevention rather than treatment.
Ummm naturopathic and doctor together is like saying a canoe owner is a 5star battleship admiral hahahahahaha what do you perscribe doc ? Pine cones lol
Nah. It just means big pharma doesn’t own him. He actually helps people heal. You keep your prescriptions. See how that works out.
@@catzlady.8189 naaaaa it means he’s fraudulent in phd proclaim’ perscribing broccoli isn’t quite health care chum
