ℹ️ I had a "once in the lifetime chance" and was invited to visit SOFIA! The short Jumbo B747-SP have a huge Telescope in the aft cabin. On Nightflights you can see things in the universe you don't see from earth because SOFIA fly up in over 30.000 ft. and up there the athmospheric is much thinner.

Indeed! You have the 747-100/200 smallest 747s. You have the 747-400 which is the medium sized and then you have the new 747-8i which is the largest 747

@@as-guardianangel9360 This is a 747-sp basicly its a 747 100 with a bunch of the fuselage removed to make it fly faster and higher.

@@as-guardianangel9360 i think they took 7 fuselage sections out. That's where the 747 sp-7. SP stands for special performance and the -7 is the amount of fuselage sections they removed. Im not an expert i just play one on the internet.
