Hey Leecey Leece! I hope you are well. Your locs look so full and healthy and are coming along nicely. I'm so glad you found your sweet spot again! Neutrogena T-Gel is awesome on dandruff and itching. I need to incorporate aloe vera juice in me and my girl's hair routine. Natural remedies are always best, and the fact that it leaves your hair feeling soft and moisturized is a huge plus. I totally agree with you, I don't want dry, hard locs. I want bouncy, soft locs!
This is a great video because it's a reminder that sometimes we have to go back to the basics because the basics are usually what works for us. I've had to do that with my natural hair routine. I tried to follow other people's hair routines or use products that they used, and more often than not they didn't work for me and my hair. The same applies with having locs. I'm glad you remembered what worked for you! 😊👌🏾🥰

      Its Sonya thank you 😊
I’m loving my locs and feeling better about getting my scalp back on track.
Aloe works so well for me, I’ve not seen anyone say anything negative about it so far. But yes, going back to basics has helped and I think it’s a great place to start.
I hope you have as much success with it as I have.
Thank you for always being encouraging - I hope you’re doing well and feeling better 😊

I have scalp psoriasis also. My sisterlocks are 15 months old.

@@leeceyleece2406, I'm using T-gel with the sisterlock shampoo. This was working until maybe 3 weeks ago my hair is a flake city. I'll keep you posted plus I'm going to add some conditioner to my hair today. 🤔🤞🏽🤞🏽

Vangie Edomwonyi that’s interesting - I used Tgel alone rather than with Almocado which is my chosen Sisterlocks shampoo. I wanted to see how the T gel got on by itself and that seemed to help.
How are you getting on now? I hope things are improving.

Hi there, thanks for the video, 6 months locked and Im struggling to keep my psoriasis at bay as I've been asked not to wash as much ( I usually wash once a week) so the hair locks. Do you still use this routine?

Sorry to hear that, I know how frustrating it can be.
Frequent washing isn’t negotiable when you have a scalp condition, it’s necessary.
I use aloe gel on my scalp as a pre poo but there was also a steroid ointment that my GP prescribed. I’ve got videos on both here.
I no longer need or use the ointment but when things were really bad it helped.
Aloe gel and T gel seem to have me well covered.
Not sure if you’ve seen a professional, but that would no doubt help.

Thank you for replying! I know for a fact that the only thing that helps me is washing regularly. I have to was it every week and that’s not helping my locks. The stuff from the GP works but isn’t practical to use long term ( steroids and all) . I just need to manage it till my hair ‘locks’ 😩. Got the Aloe juice today, trying the mix out without the oils. I hope it helps, the plan is to cut back on washing cos of slippage. Thank you so much for your videos xxx
