I know that the half gear was a factory thing but wasn't sure if they also used a full gear as well. Thank you for the knowledge and thank you for watching!!
Not 100% but it is I would say 85% better. It was hard to drive before but now its pretty good. I think to make it perfect a guy would have to re-bush the whole bolster. We run it with a couple psi uneven tire pressure and it doesn't wobble at all that way.
Yes I need to get a little more shop rearranging done (cool stuff happening there) and I have a few projects helping friends out. Then I need to get some heads put back on the Moline to make room for 300 assembly. I would like to have it running before hay season to take some of the workload off my M. The M is in dire need of a transmission rebuild, its getting progressively noisier.
Watching you trying to line up the 4 grille bolts is exactly the the same problem I have with my Super MTA. It can be frustrating. 👍
It made me sort of crabby, it fought me pretty badly which is why I fast forwarded through it..
How wild were your front wheel in 5th getting ready to do my 42 H distillate and in 5th those wheels are like a jeep with the desth wobble lol
Mine too and I was hoping that he would take the steering wheel shaft out so I could see my problem
International Harvester used half gear from the factory.

I remember "inches"! Now we need two complete toolboxes when working on both old and new.
I know they keep saying metric is a better system and they are probably right but I much prefer the good old inch method.
So did it fix the wobble..I'd like to see a test drive

Have to ask are we going to see the farmall 300 anytime soon? Great work I like your channel!
