I pre-ordered mine from Sweetwater. I got it a few weeks ago and I paired it up with my TD-3-MO. I just got my T-8, so going to start playing with that a bit next.
great jam! i'm basically using my p6 for an additional drum machine for now bc i've never used a sampler before. this helps with ideas of what i can do :)
The beauty of it is that you aren't stuck with the samples like with the T-8. Sure you can pretty much shape those samples anyway you want, but if you want to have anything else as part of your rhythm track you have to try to emulate it with the bass channel. With the P-6 you can use a tool to upload your own samples if you want, or you can record them. Say for example, you happen to have some 808 samples :P - like I do - so you can upload those 808 samples and them use them on the pads however you want. But that doesn't even scratch the surface. You can chop samples and you can quantize for starters. There are a TON of features - some new to me that I'm learning. For $200 it's way worth it. The menu sucks, but I printed cheat sheets :P

I have been debating on which Roland AIRA to get next. This might seal the deal for me. ❤
👍😀
giving me blair sound design vibes
So funky this jam mate! I love it! I could have the first track as a ringtone or alarm forever! Well done ✨ How do you feel with the P6?
Thank you!
P-6 is not good for detailed beat making, but good for jamming!
@@HellYeahYoshitaka Did you try some outdoor sampling with the built in mic?
@@RareCounterKulture I haven't tried it yet. I'd like to try it someday.
