Need the p6 too , always afraid to use Sampler because mostly u need computer for cutting and such things so I wanted to stay „hardware only“………… but this little thing could make it happen, don’t u think so.?

Yes! This p-6 is sampled from hardware only. Step sampling function is useful.

@mmaforever594 Thank you! I recommend t-8 and p-6. t-8 requires menu diving for detailed functions, but the basic functions are easy.

The beauty of it is that you aren't stuck with the samples like with the T-8. Sure you can pretty much shape those samples anyway you want, but if you want to have anything else as part of your rhythm track you have to try to emulate it with the bass channel. With the P-6 you can use a tool to upload your own samples if you want, or you can record them. Say for example, you happen to have some 808 samples :P - like I do - so you can upload those 808 samples and them use them on the pads however you want. But that doesn't even scratch the surface. You can chop samples and you can quantize for starters. There are a TON of features - some new to me that I'm learning. For $200 it's way worth it. The menu sucks, but I printed cheat sheets :P

thank you! I like seqtrak better than mc-101. MC-101 feels like a lot of menu diving. However, with seqtrak, the app is almost required, so it's a matter of preference.
