Ukraine's kamikaze drone Magura V5 in details

Ukraine's Magura V5 unmanned surface vessel (USV) is successfully being used against Russian Navy vessels. A full scale model was showcased at Eurosatory exhibition in Paris. Ivan Sybyriakov, the Unmanned Systems Manager at SFTE SPETSTECHNOEXPORT, gives us a walkaround of the maritime kamikaze drone and shares some details about new versions of the USV.

Ukraine opened a new era in naval warfare by using kamikaze USVs in the war since the fall of 2022. The USV attacks were effective on critical Russian warships and infrastructure in the Black Sea.
The Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus (MAGURA) V-type is a next-generation multi-role USV developed in Ukraine.
The MAGURA V5 can perform multiple operations, such as surveillance, reconnaissance, patrol, search and rescue, mine warfare, fleet security, and combat missions.
The MAGURA V5 was developed by using advanced design techniques. The hydrodynamic hull and sleek profile of the V5 allow it to proceed covertly with good maneuverability.

Another version of Magura has 2 air-to-air missle lunchers.
Drone does not need 360 degree rotary launcher, because it is lightweight and its faster to turnarond in the water as a whole boat than rotating launcher.
It is not static to need rotary launcher.
