Before Spongebob, that was literally their most watched show, and it still got cancelled. Fact is, Nickelodeon, nowadays, unless the show is making MILLIONS upon release, not only do they stop promoting it, but they also make it harder to watch. It wasn't so much the fans that made Rise hard to see, as it was nickelodeon messing up the order of the episodes, airing the episodes infrequently, making it hard to watch, or keep track of, not showing enough episodes, not advertising it enough over time, and blaming the cancellation on low toy sales, even though the toys sold well in the beginning, but no one is going to buy the same toys again, and no one's going to buy consistently, if you don't market the show consistently. It also sucks that they didn't consider that TV is changing. People stream more than they watch these days. They needed to also show the show on places people could see it, like Netflix and Paramount. But they didn't. Not to mention that the pandemic hit, and ratings, naturally, went down, because people defaulted to streaming services. There are whole videos out there about how Nickelodeon majorly messed up, and Rise paid the price. But there is still a chance to save the show I think. Support Rise content, make Rise content, tell people about the show and how it was unfairly treated, spread the word and keep pestering Nickelodeon to fix their GODAMN MISTAKES! Same with Earth Spark and Glitch Techs.
