I think the person who asked about the compatibility between the Juki dual foot pedal (which has a similar, separate thread cutter pedal if you purchased that upgrade) was getting at is to figure out if they could avoid additional cost to add the convince. I’m very interested in the new model, but I’ll have to see the lighting, sound and speed.

I used to have a 1008. I replaced it with a BL Crescendo which has a ‘real’ auto threader. You just get the thread down to the lever and it threads the machine. I have a Q16+ and find it easier to just thread the needle manually. I thought the thread cutter would be great but not really a fan. They don’t leave enough thread behind and you have to pull more thread up from the bobbin and down from the needle. Also have to go trim the tails on the fabric. Hope the Bernina does a better job.

Yes, it does have the ability to go into a cabinet with the correct insert.

I love my Juki TL 18QVP. This has a feature that mine doesn't. The separate bobbin winder. I probably won't be buying the Bernina cuz i do love my Juki
