I been cutting hair since I was young bro so over the years I’ve bought mostly wahl clippers also the andis master clippers are wonderful. Easy to fade with than when u zero gap they can pretty much take out the skin like like nothing

You should look into getting an Oster Model 10. I have 2 sets one is just a back up set because they do require maintenance. Grease, motor brushes, blade drive lever. Besides my outliners Oster Model 10's are all I use there is no hair cut you cant do with them and hair thickness dosnt matter they go through it all like butter and will cut your time in half on cuts. I also run a portable clipper vacuum on my Oster Model 10's. I can do cuts in half the time. Clients love the vacuum they dont get any hair on them so they dont have to go home and wash their hair or anything. And using one you will like it to you still have to sanitize the clippers in between clients but you wont have any hair in the blades after a cut at all. You dont have to stop and brush hair out during a cut you can just keep rocking along. But you wont get a better clipper than a Model 10 my main set I use I bought in 1996 so they are 21 years old and I still use them daily going on 50K haircuts with them. You want quality and something that will last get yourself a Model 10 and a clipper vacuum is a good investment to between the clippers and vac it cuts your time in half less time means more money

Bro u should invest in a pair of wahl senior bro they work so well and pretty cheap honesty compared to a pair of ergo clippers but yea I love my wahl senior I just bought the cordless pair but they are so light and easy to use

Alicia Hinojosa dm me on ig, but clipper wise I would recommend magic clips! Trimmers, Slimline! Both economical light weight. Cordless don’t get hot too quick and just fold clippers!

Do you prefer the slimline over the gold fx?
imo the gold fx is more better for line ups but the slimline is better for setting you bald line becuase it doesnt set a harsh line, but for a beginner the slimline is the way to go, but at the end of the day just any trimmer will do as long as it does the job
Does barber school allow you to get your own kit together?
DEE FRESKO I believe you can. I would ask before signing the contract for the school that way you can save money and pick out better stuff

The only difference pretty much is the cordless part so yes.

How much did you pay for the whole kit including sheers and everything roughly? I'm in school now. They want me to pay around 15-17 hundred. For my clips sheers and everything I need. Is this a good price?
Films I personally believe you can make a legit kit for a lot less. Especially for someone starting off not needing the most expensive stuff.my kit was overpriced as heck. Around 2k and I bought all the stuff I use now.
