Regarding 2:43, hollow chain links are made from hollow tubing. The first step starts with thin sheet metal which is wrapped around to form a hollow tube and its seam is fused or soldered closed. Tubing or solid wire is pulled through a series of holes in a wire drawing die. The drawing process elongates the hollow tubing or solid wire while decreasing its diameter. The hollow tubing or solid wire is then coiled around a mandrel. Next individual "C" shaped links are cut off from the coil. Then the "C" ring links are linked together to form "O" ring links and their seams fused or soldered shut while also leaving the chain flexible and articulated. To get an interlocking Cuban pattern on a chain, the chain is twisted, planished or filed into shape or it can be flatten by compression through a rolling mill machine.

Yeah not exactly hollow. Has a little weight to it but it’s not solid. Semi hollow.

Cuban link is a misnomer, the correct name is "curb" link, rounded, box (shaped), square or soft edge link. Not to be mistaken for a "box" chain.
The name "cuban link" was popularized by the early 1980's drug dealers in Miami, many from....? Where? Cuba. What jewelry were they wearing? Link! With gaudy medallions, when the link chain stands alone. Black drug dealers at the same time back in the day in south Florida wore gold rope chains. Thats the history. I was there.

Regarding 6:55, there are 20 pennyweights in one troy ounce. The symbol for pennyweight is written as "dwt" where "d" is from the old English coin symbol for penny which was derived from the denarius coin used by the ancient Romans. In regards to gold purity, it can be expressed in fractional parts of 24. For examples, 24 karat gold is 24/24 = 100% pure gold, 22 karat gold alloy is 22/24 = 91.67% gold content, 18 karat gold alloy is 18/24 = 75% gold content, 14 karat gold alloy is 14/24 = 58.3% gold content, and 10 karat gold alloy is 10/24 = 41.7% gold content.

Charms are for bracelets, pendants are for necklaces.
Different styles chains for different styles of pendants.
Chain Gang ⛓️Mandatory single chain 6 to 7mm wide solid 22 to 24in rope classic style never goes out of style. Cuban been around a long time but is more contemporary style try both styles on both have pros and cons. Weight has to be at least 65g so it sits in place regardless of activity. Even if you keep it tucked in a 6mm to 7mm will have a gorgeous neck profile. Your a King no scratch that your a “JEDI “ pull trigger on something solid good size mm weight 🤝.

The beauty and mystique of gold is it in its natural form (yellow) even rose is way better IMO than white.. but again to each their own! If you like white gold then rock that white gold brother!
