I think he's asking for *more* chewing gum: I kinda suspect that they're all on speed.

Tony Parsons was very dear to the Clash's hearts, and vice versa. Naturally he gave them difficult questions -- he took them seriously.

Joe kept the way he sung because when they first recorded with a famous producer told him to say the words right and when he did he saids he took all the piss out of it and sounded like matt Monroe so he kept his original style. He compared it to Jamaican music that you have to listen a hundred times to understand.

Mick Jones...competitive pool player. He does not care about interview. He is wanting to win the pool game.

Ugh Tony parsons! What are you doing? Be yourself. You can tell Joe isn't fooled by him, but Joe was a chameleon himself so...
But anyway, this is a great upload so thanks mr uploader! :)

tony parsons , what can i say, Undeserving of such a story, although the pics by charlie are great, and little was known of parsons jnr, its a good insight to the rudeness of the circs they lived in way back when,,,,

seems like one of the better interviewers just cause he's asking them questions about becoming sellouts dont make him a twat. it's a better uestion then whos your biggest influence and all that crap interviewers usually spew

Parsons is trying to stir the pot. And fair enough. But The Clash were held to higher standards than any of their contemporaries.

Oh he definitely is one. Everytime I have to deal wich such a prick or even just have to listen to what they have to say, I can't quite understand how anyone can possibly want to have such a person around them, like how they can have any friends. Joe was just the exact opposite, a brilliant, likable down to earth person, it's quite sad that there are so few like him and so many twats around.
