FYI - when creating gas, never craft more than 60. Or at least never put enough wood in to craft more than 60. Crafting 60 gives you 6000 gas which maxes out an empty output, so you're just wasting the wood that's burning at that point.
True! Also, if you try crafting more than it can hold you’ll actually lose stuff sometimes. Like if you craft 8 axes for example, it’ll craft 6 that it can hold, and then when you open it to look it’ll craft another and place it into your inventory. But that’s all it crafted. Which is 7 instead of 8. It seems that the 7th one will disappear, and the 8th will craft into your inventory when you open the station. I mean, unless you’re standing there watching it the whole time. In which it’ll just drop any excess into your inventory. But otherwise you will lose 1. Figured that out the hard way. Not a big deal for stuff like bottle water. Just losing 1. But crafting something like a drawbridge and having that go bye-bye…. It hurts.

Before that trader update hit, it’s possible they fixed it with that one, I’m not sure I ever risked it since then lol but I’m pretty sure it’s still a thing. You can test it with water. Take some random items and fill up 5 of the 6 slots on the campfire. Then craft 17 water. Wait for them all to finish, and then open the campfire. If I’m right you should have a stack of 15 in the campfire and 1 go into your inventory(or 1 still crafting). If you’re right, you’ll have 2 in your inventory. If you only craft 16 then it wouldn’t matter, if I remember correctly. As 1 will always pop into your inventory. But I figured it out because I would always fill my workbench slots so I’d get the experience when it was done. So it couldn’t “pop” until I opened it and it would go into my backpack. But I crafted 2 drawbridges. When I opened it, I only got one…
Bonus tip, you get more dukes selling guns with only 2 peices assembled on it. It sells for the same price as a 3 peice or fully completed gun. Thanks for the tips. I like the underground highway and that buried treasure tip help a lot. I went soooo deep trying to find mine

Also I haven't tested it yet but I'd like to know if I sell weapons this way if it counts as parts or gun sales for the 3 stacks max. For example can I sell him 3 fully assembled pistols and 3 partials and 3 parts of each? Or does it count as 1 or the ither
I'd be interested to find if there is truth to this. I thought partial guns were just the sum of the parts. Complete guns with worn components where the gun still says 100% (and won't let you use repair kit) will give you full price (as if all the parts were full durability).
@@bradleypearce4645 durability definitely affects the sale price, at least on the Xbox version. If it's only a couple of percent, like 98% durability, it might not affect the price, but anything at 50% durability will definitely sell for much less than if you repaired it first, even if repairing it drops the quality.
Great videos! Just came back to this game after a few years off. FYI - You should NOT re-read schematics for recipies you already know. While your skill will go up it will not give you any experience towards leveling your character up. When you increase a skill level by doing things using that skill, you will increase your skill level AND gain experience towards the next character level. But if you just re-read a schematic you will only gain a skill level but no character experience. Since each skill level requires more time and effort as you go higher, raising skills by re-reading schematics just makes it that much harder to gain the next level which slows down your character's leveling up.

People still play console 7 Days in 2022? Bless your soul. I tried going back to play with some friends but PC version with all it's updates spoiled me. Started on PS4 but moved to PC glad to see it hasn't totally died. Even if development has.

I always put double doors. Then add hatches to block the entrance more. You can get one single hatch against the doors flush and I then use 3 additional hatches on the other side so that there are 4 layers blocking them out. Yes they can jump and climb the set of 3 hatches but it slows them down.

Oh, another simple tip that can actually be useful (I don’t think you said this one in your videos) is the emergency stop on the minibike. Pressing/holding A on Xbox or X on PlayStation will instantly stop your minibike when riding it! It has saved me many, many, times from driving into a sinkhole or river that I didn’t see. Which is useful so you don’t have to take your minibike apart to get out…

Ive find quite a bit of gold,diamonds and silver in the desert my recent game, quite surprised how far they were spread out but i came out with like mire then 5 of each
Tip: If you're a low level and want to avoid a horde and not take base damage, just die on horde night, and wait to respawn. Wait till you hear the dawn bell ring.
Thats a good tip if never thought of that, You can also dig a bunker base and hide down there since zombies cant dig down you will be able to get some work done while your down there 👍
Hide underground, swim on the surface of deep water as zombies can't swim on console version, build a very tall structure (I forget the exact height but after so many blocks tall zombies can't find you)
I started to play recently and your videos have been helpful, but I'm in day 50 and still don't found recipe for the minibike, are those recipes exclusive to some location?
Im glad the videos have been helpful! Unfortunitely the location is random it could be in a letterbox, bookshelf, a filling cabinet or even in a pile of trash, Traders can sell them and you can get them from supply drops too 👍
Remember if you spawn next to a poi...point of interest(pre fabricated building)zombies will spawn before you spawn in the environment minus Navezgane map which you always spawn next to a run down house
On PS you press options on the game at your PS main menu and you can upload or download to the PS cloud, Im not to sure on XBOX though but if you google it you should be able to find out how 👍
Was there an update to the console version? (PS4) I’m not able to use a wrench on the forge to take it and I’ve tried going to the console specific trader locations and nothing’s there 😅
Put your stinky foods in your bike if you have it, you can keep health cap increase foods with you that way w no smell. You can eat/drink straight out of the bike 👍
Corn bread is just as good as blueberry pie, and cheaper to make. It has exactly half of the food, and half of the wellness of blueberry pie. Which means 2 pieces of cornbread is EXACTLY the same as 1 blueberry pie. Just different resources. Instead of using corn meal, egg, blueberry and water it’s just 2 cornmeal and 2 water(for 2 pieces of cornbread). So depending on what you have, it can be better to make. But meat stew is always the best for wellness and food.
Yea im not a fan of how expensive blueberry pie is eggs arnt exactly easy to get a lot of lol cornbread is great especially if you build at the farm in Navezgane theres enough corn to survive for a year 👍
@@NaturalBornNZyeah especially once you get the minibike you’re really going to struggle with eggs. Unless you’re jumping off to loot them everytime you see one. That’s when it’s time to switch to cornbread. Although I usually try and eat mostly meat stew for wellness. Running over animals is pretty easy 😂 and I always have gigantic farms.
In my world its almost day 30 and I took over a wooden house that was already generated in the world and I made it my base and i surrounded it with spikes and i upgraded the walls and replaced the doors with mine and I upgraded it and put traps in the inside. There’s stairs down under my base and it’s basically a basement but it’s filled with water and pillars and the zombies try to get down there how do I easily get rid of water because I really need to know please tell me if you know it would be a big help because water in this game is extremely weird. Also good video and the tips are really helpful.

The reason is because the loot will respawn when you pull whatever item out you put in after the set amount of days, My loot respawn is 15 days but you can run past it and it wont reset the timer, I talk about it in my 77 tips and tricks video so check that out if you havnt already 👍
Alright, so I have a question about prices - if you inspect an item it will show Base Price in the menu and Sell Price up in the corner. What is the difference between these two?
I dont think ive even noticed there was 2 different prices 😂 My guess is base price is probably what its always worth so the default price and then sell price will be based on your bartering, The higher your bartering the more you can sell things for 👍
Does anybody know what radiation resistance does on console? I've always wondered what it actually does but I can't find any information about it anywhere.
Thats a good question, Unfortunitely it does nothing, The only place with radiation is the world border but even with full hazmat you will die if you go out there 👍
so does bedroll negate spawning vertical so if i place a bedroll at bedrock will it prevent spawning above at ground level also? I would really like to know damage difference between the arrows. I know they each do more damage then the previous one but by how much? For the same amount of resources vs total damage output and i miss headshots all the time with bow so there are times quantity matters early game also.
So I'm having trouble finding the awnser I'm looking for so I'll drop my question here and hopefully someone knows. What's the strongest block in the game for consoles I'm trying to build a base but I'm not sure what block to use
Stainless Steel is the strongest block with 12,000 hp but its a nightmare to get, You can only buy from traders so its hard to get a lot, Steel has 10,000 hp and is super easy to get so i would recommend to go with that 👍

I've been having endless blue screen issues with my private world for my friend and I it seens everytime we log in now we blue screen within minutes but it's only when the other joins solo seems to work no problem
I was binging this for a bit but really ran in to issues basebuilding. When I put down a block it will only allow me to attach additional blocks in certain directions with no third person view. Is this console specific or is on the pc version too? Its made building tall bases near impossible.
I know you can go into 3rd person on PC but i think it has to be done through the debug menu, Im still new to PC so im not 100% sure, But unfortunitely no 3rd person on console you just have to be really careful when you get high and make sure you have splints and first aid kits lol

I have a treasure map under one of the factories and ive completely dug out under it about 15 blocks down, within the entire radius of the flashing red chest and cant find it. Anyone know what im doing wrong? Will the treasure spawn inside the building or inside walls and such things?
Yea it sucks when that happens but they are usually exposed under the water so you dont have to dig, With a name like scubasteve that should be enough to dive down there and get it brother!

I'm in the burnt biome right now and I've literally dug everywhere and cannot find fertilizer.. the white spots I find give me rock, sand and lead!! Wtf am I doing wrong???
Nah its just extremely tedious to find lol it took me a while to find for the video 😅 it sounds like your finding gravel spots if you keep searching though you should have some luck, You need to find the spots that look like they have been fertilized 👍

@Play Music as far as my testing has gone. Durability and level of item does not effect the sale price at all. Lemme know

When you click on an item, it'll say in the stats menu "known" if it's been read. If not, it'll say what the item is, such as SMG.

It's funny how many of these I naturally knew from playing.
If you are looking for mechanical parts you can wrench the gas pumps for like one or two parts each
You can also pick up spotlights by breaking them with a pick

I found that crafting Pressure Plate Mines quickly levels the science skill.

Ive find quite a bit of gold,diamonds and silver in the desert my recent game, quite surprised how far they were spread out but i came out with like mire then 5 of each
You can use hay blocks to climb on top of spikes.

Tip: If you're a low level and want to avoid a horde and not take base damage, just die on horde night, and wait to respawn. Wait till you hear the dawn bell ring.
Thats a good tip if never thought of that, You can also dig a bunker base and hide down there since zombies cant dig down you will be able to get some work done while your down there 👍
Hide underground, swim on the surface of deep water as zombies can't swim on console version, build a very tall structure (I forget the exact height but after so many blocks tall zombies can't find you)

Im glad the videos have been helpful! Unfortunitely the location is random it could be in a letterbox, bookshelf, a filling cabinet or even in a pile of trash, Traders can sell them and you can get them from supply drops too 👍
If running a 28 days later run stealth is key to survival also range is king if a zombie is close to you it's game over
Remember if you spawn next to a poi...point of interest(pre fabricated building)zombies will spawn before you spawn in the environment minus Navezgane map which you always spawn next to a run down house

Was there an update to the console version? (PS4) I’m not able to use a wrench on the forge to take it and I’ve tried going to the console specific trader locations and nothing’s there 😅
Put your stinky foods in your bike if you have it, you can keep health cap increase foods with you that way w no smell. You can eat/drink straight out of the bike 👍

Corn bread is just as good as blueberry pie, and cheaper to make. It has exactly half of the food, and half of the wellness of blueberry pie. Which means 2 pieces of cornbread is EXACTLY the same as 1 blueberry pie. Just different resources. Instead of using corn meal, egg, blueberry and water it’s just 2 cornmeal and 2 water(for 2 pieces of cornbread). So depending on what you have, it can be better to make. But meat stew is always the best for wellness and food.
Yea im not a fan of how expensive blueberry pie is eggs arnt exactly easy to get a lot of lol cornbread is great especially if you build at the farm in Navezgane theres enough corn to survive for a year 👍
@@NaturalBornNZyeah especially once you get the minibike you’re really going to struggle with eggs. Unless you’re jumping off to loot them everytime you see one. That’s when it’s time to switch to cornbread. Although I usually try and eat mostly meat stew for wellness. Running over animals is pretty easy 😂 and I always have gigantic farms.

In my world its almost day 30 and I took over a wooden house that was already generated in the world and I made it my base and i surrounded it with spikes and i upgraded the walls and replaced the doors with mine and I upgraded it and put traps in the inside. There’s stairs down under my base and it’s basically a basement but it’s filled with water and pillars and the zombies try to get down there how do I easily get rid of water because I really need to know please tell me if you know it would be a big help because water in this game is extremely weird. The reason is because the loot will respawn when you pull whatever item out you put in after the set amount of days, My loot respawn is 15 days but you can run past it and it wont reset the timer, I talk about it in my 77 tips and tricks video so check that out if you havnt already 👍

Alright, so I have a question about prices - if you inspect an item it will show Base Price in the menu and Sell Price up in the corner. What is the difference between these two?
I dont think ive even noticed there was 2 different prices 😂 My guess is base price is probably what its always worth so the default price and then sell price will be based on your bartering, The higher your bartering the more you can sell things for 👍
For random gen worlds, can you input specific world seeds? And if so How?
When you set up your random gen world it will ask you to name the world, Whatever you name the world is the seed 👍

Does anybody know what radiation resistance does on console? I've always wondered what it actually does but I can't find any information about it anywhere.
Thats a good question, Unfortunitely it does nothing, The only place with radiation is the world border but even with full hazmat you will die if you go out there 👍
so does bedroll negate spawning vertical so if i place a bedroll at bedrock will it prevent spawning above at ground level also? I would really like to know damage difference between the arrows. I know they each do more damage then the previous one but by how much? For the same amount of resources vs total damage output and i miss headshots all the time with bow so there are times quantity matters early game also.
So I'm having trouble finding the awnser I'm looking for so I'll drop my question here and hopefully someone knows. What's the strongest block in the game for consoles I'm trying to build a base but I'm not sure what block to use
Stainless Steel is the strongest block with 12,000 hp but its a nightmare to get, You can only buy from traders so its hard to get a lot, Steel has 10,000 hp and is super easy to get so i would recommend to go with that 👍

I've been having endless blue screen issues with my private world for my friend and I it seens everytime we log in now we blue screen within minutes but it's only when the other joins solo seems to work no problem

If your settings are default it will be 30 days but you can change this at the main menu in your worlds settings, The lowest you can go is 5 days 👍
I was binging this for a bit but really ran in to issues basebuilding. When I put down a block it will only allow me to attach additional blocks in certain directions with no third person view. Is this console specific or is on the pc version too? Its made building tall bases near impossible.
I know you can go into 3rd person on PC but i think it has to be done through the debug menu, Im still new to PC so im not 100% sure, But unfortunitely no 3rd person on console you just have to be really careful when you get high and make sure you have splints and first aid kits lol

Id say it will depend on the person who created the world since you can change that setting, but the default timer for loot respawn is 30 days 👍

Yea it sucks when that happens but they are usually exposed under the water so you dont have to dig, With a name like scubasteve that should be enough to dive down there and get it brother!

Nah its just extremely tedious to find lol it took me a while to find for the video 😅 it sounds like your finding gravel spots if you keep searching though you should have some luck, You need to find the spots that look like they have been fertilized 👍
