Tell nnpc that we don't want their dirty imported fuel...even if it's expensive give us dangote fuel in the country abeg.

Dangote should be ready to sell to the independent marketers. It doesn't need to sell only to major marketers. NNPCL doesn't have to be the sole off-taker of the Dangote refined products. We want an open market and so Dangote Group should be ready to sell at competitive market prices.

It is obvious that Nigerians are yet in limbo. The clarity I want is for Dangote to tell Nigerians how much is willing to sell to NNPC and oil marketers.

It's so unbelievable that those on the helm of affairs in NNPCL are still employed, this is more than an eyesore, what a country...!!!

Saying Dangote is selling petrol to Nigeria out of Patriotism is a lie. Dangote can not compete on the international market. If he can make dollars from his products he will start an export only business.. The only thing NNPC should do to help Nigerians is to allow Tankers load directly from Dangote and other modular refineries. Then raise the standard of imported products to be better than that of Dangote.

Kevin hit the nail on the head. The key movers of the PMS price needle are the exchange rate and the crude oil price.

If nnpc will keep blocking the deal, the government either sacks the NNPC or opens the market to other buyers

I agree. NNPC is just up to no good. It's such a deceitful organization that is feared by all our past and present leaders because to refer to a popular expression "they know where all the dead bodies are buried". No leader appears able to hold that company to account or are these leaders themselves in cahoots with NNPC? That's a question Tinubu and his government has to honestly answer Nigerians.

Let the industry operate on "open market" basis.
After all, NNPCL is now a privately owned, limited liability company!
Dangote Refinery is also privately owned, just like any other private company in the country.
To ensure domestioc affordability, the govt should arrange refining, the domestic crude oil allocation, with local refineries, ie. the crude oil supply will be at a highly discounted price.

The economic situation in Nigeria has been severely mismanaged by self-serving, unqualified politicians who seem more concerned with their personal gain than the welfare of the country. Figures like Dangote are making significant contributions to Nigeria's progress, yet instead of supporting him, government officials resort to corruption and shortsightedness. Such actions would be unthinkable in other countries. It's disheartening, and this is part of why many Nigerians continue to face poverty. For the sake of the country, we need to support those who are genuinely working for its advancement.

Please this man is not balanced in his analysis. He speaks like a Dangote spokesman. As a layman, I do not think that NNPC should be the sole buyer. The same NNPC that is being accused of opaqueness. Let Dangote sell directly to IPMAN and MOMAN and cut off NNPC

What are you saying NNPC have been the sole buyer ever since now they fix price at N897 while they balance the rest as subsidy.
Now they won't buy from Dangote meaning no subsidy for his product so how does Dangote sell at a same price with what NNPC subsidize considering his is even of higher quality.
