This is the best I've heard Blackmore sound. So fluid. Lazy is so damn fast, like they're sick of playing it and trying to get through it as quickly as possible. Wish there was more from Fireball.

Ritchie tends to play exceptionally well in Germany, he loves it there.
I never knew he's a fluent German speaker.
His first wife was from there.

Great show... I could never understand why Ritchie is always standing sideways when doing a solo as in child in time... seems like he doesn’t want people to see his hand movements on the guitar? ... The fans come from far and pay a lot of money to see guys perform and I just can’t understand why Ritchie does that... Most other guitar greats will walk to the front edge of the stage and face the audience dead on and do their solo’s... At least you can see something....

@@paicy3739 Nope, both Ritchie and Ian say that the spaghetti thing happened on tour in cleaveland, but they didn't tour the US at all in 1993. Colin Hart wrote in his book that is was 1987 which is quite likely, because it was the last time Mk II toured the USA.

MK2 was definitive hard rock.
MK3 was bluesy rock.
MK4 was jazz/funk rock.
Joe Lynn Turner was AOR.

I watched your channel. Great job on Copenhagen 1988, and many great stuff. Not sure though that your Malmo 87 is better than mine (video and audio). I would say an upscale to 1080 would make the video better as youtube compression is awful at 480.

@@thegoldendustarchive Perfect Purple is on invitation only ( don't ask me why). It took me a while to enter too. Give an email adress and i will ask the admin to send you the procedure (nothing complicated). It should be fast. I usually use mega but if you prefer wetransfer, it's the same.
