I have a 2018 gt with Roush catback & stainless works 1 7/8 catted headers. I know you want headers but I have to warn you; it’s extremely loud and raspy. It sounds absolutely amazing but if you didn’t buy the expensive active axle back version you may want to hear it in person if you’re worried about loudness. & the cold starts are brutal lol. It is just as loud as the corsa extreme with headers but is much deeper in in sound. It sounds like a beast. My solution to make it more bearable was putting vibrant resonators on it and now it’s perfect.
I have a 2020 Mustang Gt Bone Stock. And I literally got the Roush Cat back like a week ago for Black Friday. And I love it, I don’t know how it sounds like from the outside but in the cabin SOMETIMES I feel like it’s not loud enough. But either way I’m loving it, do you know if it has a “break in period” some say that exhaust will break in after a few hundred miles and will sound a bit louder and some say it will sound a bit softer. Did you witness with this setup? Is your stang bone stock too?
other than an exhaust I have no performance mods. Overtime the tone did change a little I feel like it got more throaty. I feel sometimes its not loud enough other times its more than I need. If you hear it from the outside your perspective will change
I had a Roush mustang with the Roush cat backs and an X pipe to me it wasn’t even loud enough lol I also had a Roush F150 super charge pick up truck with the cat back on it again still not loud enough that’s just my
Yah it’s definitely not insanely loud. But it’s much louder than stock without being crazy. Once I get my bronco I’m going fbo with headers and it’s gonna be much louder.
Just installed my Roush catback on my ‘17 5.0 yesterday and it is noticeably quieter than my friends ‘15 5.0 with Roush axle backs + X-pipe. Did you notice it getting any louder overtime?

I have the same exact set up, and it is absolutely ridiculous, but I love it
I have the same exhaust set up but I just don’t like the tips. Seems too small for my liking. Prefer the corsa tips but the Roush sound lol
I have this same exhaust setup on my 15 mustang, but it doesn't sound as raspy as yours

@@NavsGarage i do hope it does get throaty! I love the cold starts superrr aggressive. But the warm starts are bit lame kinda sounds stock lol
@@stanvelasquez1455 get an H pipe it’ll be louder
I meant to say a Roush stage three mustang which is the super charged version

Honestly I think it did. But hard to say
it’s the mufflers wearing out over time
I have the roush axleback with the roush hpipe
I have 19 GT with roush axleback and im thinking about adding an xpipe, does your system drone?
Go h pipe with headers..no regrets
Ehh probably too loud for me, I like the hp gains from headers tho.@@Uncommon1295
I have an issue with my catback being quiet
Take it off them lol
You get a roush?
Awe touring= zero drone
what headers are you able to match with this setup
Since it’s an x pipe probably most of them.
