Had a 2 door badlands do something similar. 6 months after buying it, took it for a road trip and on an off road trail the 4 wheel drive system failed. It would not stop showing warning lights and eventually in a week the battery died. Dealership switched my battery and did some kind of reset but never told me what’s wrong. I sold it after 9 months of owning it.
I bought a base 2-door manual trans Bronco and it's been great. There's no remote start or some of the other trinkets that cause some people issues. For me the Bronco is a fantastic vehicle, still pinch myself Ford delivered a true ladder frame removable top/doors rugged 4x4. Buying this vehicle for lux or image is doing it wrong though, but I hope those people keep buying ... to help subsidize the rest of us, lol.
If I got a bronco I would probably use it mainly as a fun weekend suv/Car something I can look forward to driving and it would put less miles on it. With that being said the Bronco is a good looking and seems fun to drive
Never really had too much window noise there definitely was wind noise coming from the roof. And there was most definitely a little cold leaking in from the windows. I worked with Sheboygan Ford.
What a nightmare. Years ago I had a similar issue with my Mustang 5.0 convertible. Electrical problems, nonstop. Now, in your case it’s even more in your face sort of speak with all the technology in the vehicle.
@@utsavchatterjee3605 Yah I am not a fan of the inline 4 motors rather have the V6 and save 20K. I think they look really nice but I image it will be 60K like the bronco.
Won't be long i switch to Toyotas cause I enjoy DIY car care 4cylinders always started with Tacos n 4runners too so it won't be long til the market levels out 5th gens are still amazing and can be had for sub 30k now
dang they paid you back interest too?! I'd say you did really well. I have a 4 door black diamond hardtop with a manual trans and I love it. no other option for a manual SUV. totally agree with all your points - I have a beater coupe for the summer so I can run the bronco with the doors off without worrying about it. kinda strange I treat my bronco like a motorcycle ha. best of luck with the next rig.
Sorry to hear but tbh ive been tracking its RnD since 2010 its DNA is 80% Landrover derived Ranger included there may be some digital magazines online still dong take my word for it
I just bought a 2024 2door 2.3 Big Bend in April, just turned 9k miles on it, so far so good. I agree, it is a good daily and I'm looking forward to winter to see how it does in the snow, sleet and ice with the BFG KO2's that I have on it. Sorry to hear about the bad experience with yours. Any manufacturer can produce a bad and problematic vehicle and it sucks when you get one!
i ant buying any of this new cheap lcd screen car/trucks new nanny electric steering cars truck garbage a code scanner should fix it at home or a new ecu simple but nope they ruined it ford sucks
Making cars "smart" is turning out not to be so smart!!
Thats why I prefer my trucks with the least amount of electronics available. I hate that crap.
Seeing new cars that are even worse I want to stick to older vehicles for a while
I agree, have a 2000 XLT for Ranger and it just keeps running :)
The term "smart" equates to "dum". 😂
My 1964 Chevy C/10 ,….does exactly what it needs to do when I turn the key! Simple mechanics and ZERO issues ❗
All of these electronics will be the death of all of us..imagine pulling out in front of a semi and the computer says NO...
That's not a repossession. A repossession is when you don't pay your car loan and they take your car back.

My warnings went away but still had the problem now and then just weird
Glad I ran into this. I was strongly considering a base 2 door but a lot of these new cars scare me. Looks like it’s between a Tacoma and FJ Cruiser.
Why do idiots want a computer on wheels? I want a car on wheels!
Unfortunately it’s just how all new cars are

Did your windows ever whistle at highway speeds on cold days? What dealer did you work with? I’m in the Madison area.

Check the battery connections
Buy the new 4runner if you want to buy another offroad vehicle. The trd pro looks awesome.
I liked the 4 runner that I had rented a few years back, I think the trd pro is overpriced but the more base models with the v6 I would consider.
@NavsGarage I’m talking about the new ones which are going to launch next year similar to the new tacoma.
@@utsavchatterjee3605 Brand new ones aren't likely to be as reliable as the old bulletproof V6 versions.

What avout the dealership upcharge?
Paid msrp. Idk if they would cover up charge.
Why would I want to buy a computer on wheels. For what you paid for that Bronco you can buy 3 1978-94 Broncos
Hard to compare the old and new ones. Around me all of them are clapped

Yah I think so. Having a Bronco as a second vehicle makes more sense than daily in the summer imo

not sure what you expected buying a FORD!
You are not 15 anymore boy, stop labeling any criticism as being a hater.
