Very honest, insightful conversation. That's why it's called the Matrix. Being outside the country looking in puts so much into perspective. People who were born & raised in the US but have never traveled internationally really don't understand. Their only reference is the biased 📺 which causes the misperceptions.
Black people in the diaspora should always consider Africa or South Africa as a holiday/vacation destination the same way they consider South America, Caribbean or South east asia!!!

I really wish African nations would create a special residency visa for diaspora who want to relocate to an African nation. My soul longs to move to the continent.
The locals, however, may be less enthusiastic. You might see yourself as a black brother, but that is not the criteria they will use, they will see you as a foreigner, and an American to boot. If you do move there, I would suggest you dump the arrogance most Americans have really fast, because people elsewhere, Africa included, really don't appreciate that.
@Jade Singleton He is not arrogant not because he is American, he is arrogant because he presumes to belong here, just because his ancestors came from some place five thousand kilometers away. He does not understand that he is a foreigner, it is not his right to be here. He has no innate superiority over people who live here, where he can dictate what we should do. He has to earn that, it is not something that should be given just because he wants it. It is unfortunate that many Americans think like him (not all). That is why the stereotypical American is disliked in so many countries. They should try being humble when they are a guest in someone else's house. Most people don't like a self entitled foreigner. The sad thing is they don't understand why, which is also part of the problem.
We South Africans are the only nation in Africa where an American visitor can look and fiquire out, adore his or her Africanicity. African Americans in particular seem to be in par with what the The real South Africa's ambition comes with it. They seem to fit in any space mend to augment the lives as Africans in a broader spectrum. It helps them to sooth their yearn and to find their exact Africaness. Thank you Mark and Dr Latasha for coming up with this idea of bringing our Melenin back to were it belongs. I have never heared or seen any negativity from us the rainbow nation. Our love for African Americans comes naturally.

You know I feel privileged to be a South African living in South Africa even though there's so much I'm not happy about. The US black people look okay on television but hey it seems tough.....
It is so beautiful to see black beautiful young couples raising their own. Crawford is one of the best schools and $8000 is a lot but not really that much for US earners. How about you let the kids come escape gun violence, police brutality, racism and bias by making sure they study in Private Schools like Curro, Crawford, Bishops, etc. The best schools are actually in KwaZulu-Natal Pietermaritzburg and Durban. Obviously Pretoria where Elon Musk studied and many best schools in Johannesburg and Pretoria. I tell you. Peace of mind vibes
$8000 is a lot of money, that's almost double Wits University tuition fee. Maybe it is because I don't have a child yet and broke 😂 but that's a lot of money
$8000 for a US earner is absolutely a lot. Lol. However if you value your children’s education and elect to pay for schooling, you make a sacrifice. In the US, that sacrifice would end up being more like $30K for the same type of great education. So for them to say it was a good deal is because they were used to having to pay a lot more. This couple are not average American earners. The average American doesn’t send their child to private school. Public School is free and that’s where more children go. I say all that to say that for a US earner, $8000 is still a lot.
I never knew that the USA was that racially tense. I really enjoy your channel. Welcome to this great country and keep up the good work. Come visit the Eastern Cape, Nelson Mandela Metro and enjoy the beauty of the Eastern Cape.

Also SA is still being viewed a racist country and that black SAns are perpetually under a minority rule and apartheid as the order of the day. It just so sad. The real South Africa will repatriate all African American to Africa. Thank you Mark and Latasha. I am so overwhelmed by the way you do things. I cried when the guest said he has seen a lot of his cousins here.
Thank you! We look forward to our return and many thanks to the Blanton's for showcasing the best of South Africa and it's people! ❤
Thank You Lewis family for come Home 🇿🇦🏘️🌱 SA. Still receiving your visits in the winter ❄️ that's awesome 😊. I enjoyed the conversation. South Africa 🇿🇦 have a lot to offer
This video is my favorite above all videos I have watched. Your guests are saying it all. I wish they had come to live in S.A.
welcome family, this is home where black man shines
Welcome home to you and your beautiful wife brother Lewis.
@@dimbwemazala8978 We embrace them because they came legally and with good intentions to our beloved 🇿🇦!
Everything about this interview is top tier, the ambiance, the audio & mostly the guests👏🏽👏🏽
I love your videos, they are so healing. Even though it is still my biggest dream to visit America. I would like to interact with African Americans on their turf See hoe they behave naturally. However welcome here in SA guys. The whites have been visiting SA from Europe and USA and we were asking ourselves whether you hate us that much that other races are visiting us but you don't. Now I know that you were lied to and fed bad images of us. If we could have someone promoting these videos in America for maximum exposure. Every African American deserves to see these videos. We have Americans who have since moved to SA and they are doing their best. Guys like Julian Albino and Mansa Mayne.
I love it! Thanks again for sharing with us. The fact that we’re coming there later this year, it is very very VERY difficult to contain our excitement! Love you two!❤️
Very honest, insightful conversation.
Hi Lewis family! Welcome home, enjoy Durban. You guys will definitely blend in as just another Zulu family, prepare to be approached by locals on some: "Sanibonani" 😅
Thanks for the tips!
Thank you Guys for sharing this intriguing content. Looking forward to doing business with AA soon.
first as always, welcome to motherland 😍
I was born in south africa and am a huge fan it's unbelievable you beautiful people leaving usa the first world country two not even second world country this is big and special. Please teach me your accent 😎😎😅
Hi my is Richard , Its such humbling experience to see our fellow africans flocking to South africa we love you guys welcome back home . a week ago i met african americans at Water stone village mall in somerset Capetown . We were so excited to see each other emotinal moment i must say.
The movement is happening
This interview was so engaging. Excellent work guys, and shout out to the beautiful family.
Hi family, sound quality is amazing
Yes, thank you
Thank you Sipho, as much as we talk about poor quality sound we also have to talk about good quality sound once again thanks for reminding me about the sound
Its good to have you in SA , welcome👍
Thank you Real SA for the amazing work you doing.
@@Tugela60 it’s interesting and ironically arrogant that you assumed this poster IS arrogant because he is an American.
@bobbygreene come my brother ❤❤
Come my brother ❤❤
I absolutely love the discussion I really enjoyed watching 👊🏼
You gonna enjoy Durban and Capetown.
LOVE YOUR CONTENT....THANKS MARK FOR THE AWSOME FEEDBACK...SOUTH AFRICAN HAVE A LOT OF UBUNTU!...MEANING LOVE AND COMPASSION.
LOVE LOVE LOVE This Family and for what the TRSA is doing.
This was an outstanding interview! Thank you 🙌🏾
Oh my goodness when they spoke about working from home! I felt that!
One thing I have enjoyed seeing about these videos is how intact black families are in America in comparison to what Hollywood narrates… fundamental African values❤
This is awesome!!! I'm trying to get my wife to take a trip with me to South Africa urban area to try and find some land to. I'm praying that the Lord blesses us to make that move as soon as possible.🙏🏿
I didn't know there were slaves taken from SA. I learned that they were taken from West Africa, Ghana and Nigeria mostly. I know SA took slaves from Malaysia and India. I'm impressed by their love for our country and I hope they enjoy their stay, welcome to our home.
I’m definitely looking to relocate to South Africa from the states !! Where looking to teach forex and financial literacy also, open an pan-African library’s to expand your knowledge about original people !! 🎯💯
That’s really great, we welcome you guys as SAns. Let’s connect when you come, I like your vision.
@@1t5bud82 peace, I will stay in touch Fa sho🤞🏿💯 definitely
Hi from cape Town. You got that right. Cape Town is a lovely place fantastic sights and sounds... But Joburg is amazing I could live there. Amazing people and vibes up there.
As a South African I also feel happy when I see that other African countries are developed. Because growing up they told us that the rest of Africa is just poverty with no food. And the flies. We also got those adverts in our screens growing up.
That’s why we were also scared to go to other African countries because of what we heard . My first time going to Zimbabwe my family was scared for me .
That’s the western media
A very good discussion yet touching on emotional pointers..
Hearing Black Americans talk about what we really face on a daily basis is refreshing.I can't express the honesty in this statement. How as African Americans we a treated, midlined, srutenized, every day of our lives.
I guess it's time to come home
Hi Marky and Tasha you doing great stuff, our people are really flocking in. Don't let them take advantage if they don't come through you but want short cut , tell them to keep moving.
Well come home guys and enjoy your stay in the mother land ❤️
Welcome to the Motherland, Enjoy your stay guys and love ❤️ You. Thanks to the lovely Blanton fam.
When you guys have time please check Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape and Margate in KZN as a retirement place for older people
They are young though, let them be in Joburg
@@mkdempisi I wasn't talking about this couple specifically. Any older couples that would like to retire in a beautiful quiter place.
Kudos to Margate I live there the lower south coast whoop whoop 🙌 and I love it there so pretty and chill
@@thabanimahlaba9769 it was my favorite vacation spot for years staying in Kokstad. Small and intimate.
They already look South African 😊😊😊😊
Guys we'll be waiting for the videos of The Lewis family going to Soweto, the malls or maybe house hunting. As usual guys stela job in showing South Africa ♥♥🔥🔥🔥
Lol we get what we get. They came here to explore and learn and to have fun. People following you around is a bit much unless we get SABC involved
So glad you guys have made it to SA my beloved country, enjoy your stay -I am sure you will spread the good news when you get back home - can't wait to see you back in numbers on your next trip - sad part though - I am 1 of those that wanted to visit the US one day ,but now I am not sure if I want to do that { Proud African man }
You know I feel privileged to be a South African living in South Africa even though there's so much I'm not happy about. The US black people look okay on television but hey it seems tough.....
Let's build Africa
Nice family get them a house in Polokwane...next to mall of the North they will fit on well..and will enjoy it
Loved this interview. Thank you TRSA.
Welcome to mzansi guys we love you here
Beautiful content, Luv this reactions.
Welcome home the beautiful Lewis's family
I never knew that the USA was that racially tense. I really enjoy your channel. Welcome to this great country and keep up the good work. Come visit the Eastern Cape, Nelson Mandela Metro and enjoy the beauty of the Eastern Cape.
Thank you! Will do!
Hi' Mark and DR Tasha we love you 💕 guys keep up the good work of showing our beloved South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🙌.we appreciate you tell them Mzungus from US and UK South is the best flaws and all great country they can see where the country's going...so they don't want you guys
in the US to know this ESP black brothers and sisters, but unfortunately is to late when people like you are still around 🤞. But my word of advice be careful wen you go back home and visit US coz these Mzungus can harm,I wish all the best and God's protection 🕯️🙏🙏 and your ancestors.✝️
Yes absolutely true we use to say etopiya
They don't notice color in Ireland of all places. When I went there I was shocked by that. Nobody was focused on me like I'm used to in America. I was told by an Irish coworker that they don't learn racism until they come to America.
Lie
@@fullerpajibo4148 so tell how was your experience there?
@@marthavineyard6959 There is a Nigerian British physician who posted a video about the racism that she experienced in Ireland. It was a riveting video and she ultimately decided to relocate from that nation.
@@Mary2020VA Wow, well my experience was different there. They even had a Nigerian Mayor at the time in a town called Cork Ireland.
Did they refer to tou as a Yank, just curious

Welcome back family...welcome home family...one love and God bless
An awesome interview once again!
I love what you doing Fam...
There is so much ignorance about the continent generally, and that if one visit a particular country, therefore the experience, the look, the development and culture will be same in every country. Also SA is still being viewed a racist country and that black SAns are perpetually under a minority rule and apartheid as the order of the day. It just so sad.
We thank, The Real SA, for dispelling this myth, keep up the good work, SA family.
Great conversation
Welcome home
