Nice! This should be of great help for folks wanting to build one. I made one two years ago and I'm super happy with it. A suggestion - you may want to lower the suspension. I've found with a 15" track the machine is pretty tippy so you want to keep the weight centered and as low as possible.
Nice video. Going to start building one this spring. Sadly my shop is not heated. Using a old artic cat prowler with forward and reverse trans. Hope it works.
I think these track sleds are cool, but what I'm wondering is why bother cutting an old sled up... why not just put a 13hp predator in where the 2-stroke had been? You still have a sled that only does 20 mph or so, but seems like it would be less work and you have a seat to sit on and some suspension at least, instead of your knees being the springs.
We don't have to insure or register these machines like a snowmobile. Its a good bit of cash to someone who doesn't ride trails but only use it to fish
I’m about to build one. Thanks for sharing
Love the wheelhorse hood on your machine. Looks bad ass.
Awesome. I've been kicking around building one and I'll follow along. Thanks for the content
Very interesting, I have been thinking about building one for awhile. Gotta find an old sled!
I'm about to build one and I can't wait to get into it, lets go brandon #LGBFJB

I still have no idea where to cut or what to cut off. That was not helpful at all speeding that up from far away.
