It’s great compilations like this that make me so frustrated by people on social media that would have you believe he’s a subpar 10 that can’t pass or do anything right, when he’s comfortably one of the most talented players in the modern era.
I think that Farrell has in common with George Ford the capacity to know how much they need to keep the ball and when to pass it, to create space. And it’s a pleasure to be able to see their talent in action
A few slick offloads and a whole lot of obvious long passes does not make Owen Farrell a special player. England fans just want to believe that he's special because he's English. It doesn't work that way. He's an above average flyhalf that doesn't know how to tackle legally or how to behave like a gentleman on the pitch. He will never have the respect of the wider rugby community.
@@brianharvey9765 I’m not English and I think he’s a pretty special player! That wasn’t the point of the video anyway, it was highlighting his glorious passing, which, trust me, it isn’t easy to make an 8 minute video of passes of every fly half in World Rugby. I think you’re thinking too deep into something that’s not there.
In rugby he is arguably most respected player, siya kolisi comments about him joining racing demonstrates that, he is the most professional player int he game, ultimate pro who drives standards, listen to England and lions teammates on him
You don't speak for "the wider rugby community" and you just come off as bitter and delusional. Farrell is obviously a fantastic player, it's a shame you let your bias blind you to that.
Have you never watched him, he's definitely a top 5 maybe top 3 ten in the world. And he is widely respected, players and refs all constantly praise him
"He will never have the respect of the wider rugby community." Incorrect, he doesn't have the respect of people who speak from a position of blatant bias.
The fact he doesn't get intercepted much despite passing so extremely flat is a testament to just how good those passes really are

Soo good to see this! I feel like people forget his world class passing ability
Too true. A marquee 10.
A true legend of the game. Gutted to not have him for England with all the new talent
As a Saffa it pains me to say that this bloke is a generational talent.
Agreed. Have to respect the talent.
Thank you so much for puttings these together - among the best rugby videos on youtube
Really hope we see him back in a lions shirt next year

Is he was Irish, Welsh or Scottish, he would be considered their greatest player of all time. However, being English, they hate him
I'm Welsh and I don't hate him!
@@AndrewDavidForde you seem to be the exception my friend 😀
What strikes me is how Farrell played for Saracens doesn't reflect how he played for England in the main - far more flair at club level.
6:16 I think Mako's offload steals the show here
Was by the corner flag for that lewington try at the very beginning. Honestly the best pass I've ever seen live
Dudes passes fire like missiles ready to launch...
One day he'll get the full respect he deserves. Great player.
Can you do times forwards got hatricks
if you don't like this video you don't like this sport
Owen is a good man
