So, what happened to the NPCs that were coming with? They were ready to enter the house of killer clowns to help explore at the end of the last episode.
Now that i think about it, all the major fights that occurred made me think back to when they found sandals room with all the books. From the cat assassin to the faes all found around the place, from the sky pirates and to the man of the manor. It made me think that all of this was a mixed result, of the rot and sandals childhood, where he had all these books that he'd read and cherish for he had nothing much else like caring parents to nurture and raise him right since they died, and was left with the old man who had no wanting to raise another. I feel like the old man we see here is indeed him but also being manifested by the rot to be a mix of the real kademan(forgot how it's spelled) and the kademan that sandal saw during his childhood. This weaponizing of the childhood of sandal is interesting for the rot to do, and makes me think how infecting it can truly be.
For important things I tend to have some kind of external voice recorder running as a backup, you could still stitch in missing parts at reduced quality that way. If you get fancy you can have a dual input one where it passes through the computer audio to your headphones whilst also taking mic input (or if you have two lineouts on your computer you can skip that), but just a phone or old mp3 player or the like could do a good enough job. Or even running Audacity in the background. OBS has proven not super trustworthy across a lot of different channels I've watched, and the solution generally seems to be to have a diversity of recordings happening at once, particularly from different participants in multiplayer games. It may seem a lot of wasted effort when things do work properly, and it's a bit of an editing nightmare when actually needed, but can be a lifesaver.
I think it was Rehua with detect magic determined that there was a giant rot brain that was deep in the citadel that was the source of the illusions/terrain of the area. I think they Delvers all decided it was too dangerous for them if Rot was involved but I think the organ harvester stayed because giant monster brain
The GM is way too nice and has been for a few sessions. ...their dice they were rolling were loaded and weighted towards lower results, weren't they. Part of the special reality-bending effect of the mind-cathedral?

I think they forgot about them. Or wrote them out to make the fight more challenging.

what happened to the devers i thought vina and the rest were able to convice them to aid in exploring?
they're still there, but iirc in the last ep there was an agreement to have our party check inside first while they wait outside
