XV has some of the least memorable music in the series since XII. I love Yoko Shimomura but this OST was largely underwhelming. And in my opinion, it’s definitely not better than or tied with 7 or even 7 remake, which actually IS a top 3 OST.

The sword attack that bahamut uses here has a similar animation to the quickening/mist attack that Basch Von Rosenburg uses in final fantasy 12, interesting.
While I understand that this is Final Fantasy theme and it's a darn good one, main melody keeps telling me "Hey, this new Elder Scrolls theme is dope!" I'm not even that huge TES fan.
I don't think this could be a TES song at all. But Final Fantasy XV was very very "westernized", and the soundtrack maybe "suffered" the same effect, and maybe that gives this impression of sounding like a TES song. But that's just my opinion.

I quit playing this game right after the timeskip happened... I got spoiled on how the story would end and after that I just quit playing. I might pick this up again and start over from the beginning just to experience it all again and actually clear the game myself. It was such a good game.
I spoiled myself when the game came out ofc (also saw the ending) and it didn't ruin my playthrough when I played xv for the first time this year, it's way better to experience it
I disagree with previous commenter. The additional DLCs give perspective to key moments in the game, like Prompto and Ardyn’s backstory. I spoiled the ending for myself before getting to the Altissia party. But the gameplay experience was unforgettable. A lot of things you don’t see coming
Nah man, go play it again. The timeskip, even if you know the ending, is the culmination of everything you've experienced throughout the entire game. It's 100% worth it.

Anyways, that's why in the original dlc story, there would've been a noctis and ardyn vs Bahamut fight. Sorry if all that sounded rude, fuck Bahamut
Anybody who's played Episode Ardyn would hate Bahamut. I feel the ending to ffxv would be much better if Noctis knew Ardyn's motivation. Now the whole "get off my throne" thing makes Noct look like a dumbass who didn't even know what he was fighting for

@@Artemi22 The combat was awful, felt way too much like a button basher than it did a Final Fantasy game. Just like the FF 7 Remake, they ruined it with a combat system for the current generation that likes to bash all the buttons. You could tell that they redesigned the combat system in 15 along with half the game and rushed it out, before the changes the gameplay looked great but i dunno what happened or why they needed to change like 90% of the game, the story, the gameplay and everything but but they ruined it. While it wasnt perfect (it was too easy to abuse) I think going with something similar to the Final Fantasy 12 combat system would have been better, while that was a change it still felt like Final Fantasy. 15 and 7Remake feel nothing like Final Fantasy in terms of combat and i am betting 16 will be exactly the same, hell i restarted the original Final Fantasy 7 again and still love it. Graphics might be terrible but its still an utterly amazing game, just a shame what they did to the Remake.

You dont have to like every aspect of every game you know. Given that i have played them for over 20 years. Clocking in hours on over 13 Final Fantasy titles. Like a mix between 12 (without the cheese way of breaking it) and Type Zero HD would have been perfect in terms of more action based combat that still feels like Final Fantasy. The Story, Music, Visuals were fantastic as you would expect from a Final Fantasy game. The problem was the most important aspect - Gameplay. Hell, i have restarted 7 (Original) for i have lost count how many times now - for one reason, the gameplay was fantastic. Sure the visuals are no longer there but the story, the music AND the gameplay still is and i would take gameplay over visuals any day. I have also lost count of the times i have replayed 8, 9 and 10 (10-2 is kinda eh, so that gets less) Im so "not" a fan that i havent purchased 7,8, 9 and 10/10-2 on multiple different consoles throughout the years....

All my time growing up I always wanted to experience a final fantasy game just as my brother did growing up and, ff15 was my final fantasy.
