- We have been watching the new Magnolia Network on Discovery Plus. We have always enjoyed Chip and Joanna Gaines because so many of the important things in their lives line up with our: Faith, Family and Fun. One of our favorite show so far has been The Lost Kitchen. It is a show about Erin French and her amazing restaurant in the small town of Freedom, Maine.
Normally to get into the restaurant you have to send in a post card and hope that yours gets chosen out of the some 40,000 they get each year. But we were lucky enough to be close when the announced their very first pop in. So we are going to check it out. On our way over we will stop by The Tender Hearth, one of the places featured on her show, to get some wood fired bread.

I always watching your show
You certainly did present that very well. I’m glad you had a chance to go and that you were so pleased. We kind of take it for granted because we’re a little bit involved with them as fellow mean residents who take part in some of the things they need. I hope you buy her book. It tells my story too. Perfectly told
Y’all are awesome!
Thanks. We know, but it is nice to be noticed :-) Just kidding. It was a fun trip.
I’m enjoying the birds singing while you’re talking, it’s just so nice to hear nature.
That is why we got a camper, to get into nature.
Loved you sharing & hearing about & seeing your Lost Kitchen adventure! Fun! 👍🏼😁
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a wonderful surprise that worked out for you! I enjoyed seeing how excited you were! It looked like such a beautiful and fun unexpected adventure for you. Thanks for sharing it with us!
It was such a sweet God wink…that was the best part for me 🧡 And the food was good too!!
I had never heard of this but so love that God blessed you with this wonderful gift. Thank you for showing us!
It was such a wonderful surprise! So thankful 🧡
What an amazing place! Happy belated anniversary! Had to go hunting for your videos again! Now to get caught up! Hugs!!
Thanks you so much! It truly was an amazing time in Maine…on of our favorite places for sure :)
You had us at "chocolate bun!" lol!
YES! It was melt in your mouth good!!!
This video is very timely for me. I'm flying into Bangor in mid-May and one of my plans is driving down to Freedom, likely not to eat, but to explore and will definitely check out the bakery!
Yay! I am so excited for your trip…I am so behind in answering comments that you might be there now ☺️ I hope you have such a wonderful time…that area in the late spring and summer is just magical! I’d love to hear how your trip went and if you go to visit Freedom!
I can't believe that one of their things is faith since the magazine promotes gay marriage. That is surely an abomination of the word faith!
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We haven’t read their magazine so we can’t speak to the content there.
@Ruth Swanger Do you still feel the same way?
