Were you able to test the read/write speeds with the new drive? Thanks

what adapter for samsung nvme ssd do you use to fit in iMAC 2017 ssd slot?

why u open all the things? crazy work you do while u just can change the ssd easily?
There is no other way of fitting an NVMe. Unless you are referring to fitting a slow SATA SSD? That is lazy and it will never run as fast as it could.
Is it OK to completely take out the hard drive and not replace it with something else. Some reports having issues with heating/cooling when they take out the hard drive, any thoughts, or did you have this? Thank you
Not replace it......? You would not be able to use the computer as it *requires* a hard drive of some kind
He replaced it with SSD on the motherboard. Samsung 970 evo

And I think it is a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 500Gb
