Jon Anderson & Rick Wakeman, good for the spirit, the mind, the brain and the ethos! Remarkable talent, innovation, and as TheGEEman60 said "Legends"!. These will be the Beethoven's and Bach's 300 years from now if we don't destroy ourselves.
You could be partially right, but NO... Bach, Mozart, and the other tops will ALWAYS be the true classical that will require a near lifetime to perfect, and be able to play from memory, without notation in front of you... and only the most talented will be able, because they were the true MASTERS. Just hearing what they wrote from what was in their head, for 100 piece Orchestra and Opera etc., is just ASTOUNDING! and has till who knows when, never been able to find such talent again. Yes has been an awesome band for a few decades, but they'll eventually, likely fizzle out. Destroy ourselves? I don't believe it's an ourselves event, if it should happen. It's ONE group of people who are responsible for ALL wars, and had they not been permitted to overrule the world, we could have avoided so much bloodshed and constant wars. MAN will decide if they will be permitted to destroy the world... and I hope MAN decides damn fast, because there isn't much time left. Most of the first rockers like Yes, Deep Purple, Led Zepp, etc., are about 5-6 years my senior, so I likely won't be around for what you younger generations are going to have to deal with, but mark my words... real awful times are VERY near, and you'll only avoid them if you put a STOP to it NOW. It will require a military coup, takeover by those who will want to restore the quickly dying constitution, removing the FED and printing a NEW debt free currency. That's the only thing that will save the world now. Away with the CFR, start deporting those who want to totally destroy America and the world.

I totally agree with you, Lovell. I do call them neo-classics of our time. For me, Rick, Jon are true composers, as much as Mozart and Bach. Top Notch I really notice your adoration to classics and its beautiful, but dont be that narrow-thinking and conservative. Give credits to Jon and Rick, they are one of the very few guys left, who actually make wonderful, heart-touching and interesting music, as Bach and Mozart did in the past. And NO, not only Bach and Mozart could play from the memory. Every true, talented composer can do the same. Take a look at DVD series The Other Side of Rick Wakeman (if I remember correctly), he even improvises by playing a tunes, picked from the audience, and instantly arranged and then played on the piano.
man I just saw them live yesterday, what can I say, they played songs from this album and from Yes...no words but "magical" "superb" "amazing" I'm still flying high on their music and Anderson man, what a mystic, what a great human bieng...ahhhh....I saw Yes (Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White) las year and now finally complet the journey with Anderson/Wakeman..
Best song on the album no doubt about that! It hit me like a ton of bricks first time I heard it and has done so every single time I listen to it since. Thank you Jon and Rick for being able to make music of this magnitude even after 40 years of listening to all the other beautiful songs you made through those years.
The live cd they put out from this album is excellent. Have tkt's for the ARW show this Nov. in Nashville. Haven't seen Jon preform since 2000 on the Masterworks tour. I'm over due. We miss you Chris...
Written in the true spirit of YES. Two core members that prove that YES is not just a puppet show, but still has creativity and realism. Hopefully a group mending will bring the entire creative genius to bear on future projects.

*PTSD* I love you, Jon. And it's good to know that you understand we are wounded, lost, forever. And I wish you well. And you "unfriended" me on FB. And that sounds idiotic. But it wasn't. Because there are no numbers of days, hours, months, years that we can count until it's over. Not unless we end it ourselves. XO
l _LOVE_ these guys! Rick has always been so kind to Jon! They love each other, and l love them! Rick's playing is stunning!
